We're doing this today and boy has it been a while. Yuck!!! All the dust that collects there. How often do you do this at your house?
ETA update: I suppose the area I'm really talking about is behind the headboard and night stands. That's the area that never gets touched. I have let the roomba go under the bed at times. Mostly I vacuum the bedroom wth the regular vacuum.

Wood floors and raised beds...my bed is approx 18" off the floor. I run the swiffer under there when it looks like it needs it. Maybe once a month.
If I had to move the bed, I wouldn't do it. Not a priority.

Whenever I buy a new bed. Are you supposed to do it more often than that?

Only when I am moving to a new house. We just moved and it took four of us to move just the headboard. It would take a small army to move the entire bed all put together. I just ignore the dust. When ignorance is bliss.

We have dresser drawers under our bed, so honestly about once every two years or so.
Under the kids' beds about once a month

Before we got the bed we have now, I did it pretty often, about once or twice a month. Since it was a king size bed, I had to prop the mattress and springs up against the wall at the end of the bed to vacum under it. But, with my allergies it was needed on a regular basis cause of the dust that would collect otherwise.
So now, our current bed has storage under it and it sits flush to the floor on the rug. No need to clean under it anymore. What a relief!

Isn't that what a dust ruffle is for...to hide the dust? We have a king size bed on a mahogany 4-poster frame. That thing isn't getting moved unless we move houses. Besides, the space underneath is complete filled with those underbed storage boxes. Save

I vacuum under my bed every week. I have hardwood floors and I have a ton of dust under there after just a week. I don't move my bed just run the vacuum under it with the long attachment. I vacuum under it when I change the sheets.

Most of it was behind the headboard and behind the nightstands. It was a nightmare how much there was. ETA: It's probably the longest time we've ever had a bed in one place without moving it.

Uh, maybe once every 5 years. I just don't think about it when I have the vacuum out, I guess.

The last time I vacuumed under my bed was about 4 years ago when we bought a new bed. The next time I vacuum under my bed will be whenever I buy another new bed, so maybe in about 15 years. There is no way I would try to move my king size bed just to vacuum under it.

I vacuum under the bed every fortnight. I move it away from the wall to give a really good clean once or twice a year.

After seeing behind the headboard and nightstands, I was feeling mighty guilty. I just came here to see just how guilty I should feel. After reading most of the answers, I don't feel guilty anymore. The Peas have absolved of us of guilt in this area. (for me it also helps that it's all dust free now)

Our bed is heavy wood and hard to move so I took off the mattress and box springs to vacuum under it a few times. We also had stuff stored under it until I did a big purge last year and decided I wanted nothing under it.
Now I have a Roomba that vacuums under there about once a month and it makes me feel so much better to know it's clean. The first couple of times I set the Roomba to clean under there it picked up so much stuff! The cat likes to sleep under there now that there's no junk under there.

Our bed sits flush on the floor. So no need to vacuum under it.

Only when I move the bed for some reason. I don't intentionally move the bed to vacuum under there.

My husband thinks the more furniture in the room the better (I am the opposite) so there is no room to move the bed!
