I mean bigtime fail. I tried a recipe for pork chops in the pressure cooker and they turned out bland and tough. I burned the green beans by letting them boil dry (I'd put water in the bottom of the pan to steam them, but got distracted) and the ones that weren't burned were soggy and overcooked.
The potatoes came out great, but potatoes do not a meal make.
Pizza is on the way.

Just add cheese and bacon to the potatoes. That's a meal at my house.

Same here! I just got my spiralizer in the mail today so I tried to spiralize carrots, well after going on youtube I discovered I need fat carrots to do so, don't know where to find that? I was really excited because I bought purple cauliflower and was going to make this recipe. I ended up just throwing everything in the food processor to make cauliflower rice that it's a Thai curry sauce and will have lots of leftover for the weekend. In the meantime I had a slice of pizza and a glass of wine.

Who says potatoes aren't dinner? hmmph! I know right? More than once I've had potato for dinner in various forms. But Merge I feel your pain. I made sticky spare ribs the other day and burnt them to a crisp. $25 worth of meat. We were left with fried rice for dinner which wasn't even that good. Enjoy the pizza!

Just add cheese and bacon to the potatoes. That's a meal at my house. I was thinking that exactly. lol Fruit for dessert and you've covered all food groups. But pizza is good too.

Enjoy your pizza and don't beat yourself up about dinner. Sometimes dinner doesn't work out and that's OK.

pork chops would be very, very tricky in a pressure cooker. They have such a short window between done and over done. plus they cook quickly enough that catching that window when you can't just stop cooking immediately would be almost impossible. I'm in the potatoes are a meal camp, though. But then I'm a fifth generation Idahoan. Potatoes can be anything you want them to be.

Shred the porkchops in the food processor and make pork fried rice. That's what I did last time I had a pork chop fail.
