. This is not something I ordered. I am pretty sure it's someone looking for information.

when you hover over that cancel link, is it REALLY saying what is presented on teh screen? That's one way they trick people by actually having it go somewhere else.
That said, log into your Apple account manually (NOT using any links in that email) and check to see if it's a real (but fraudulent) purchase)

I just looked at my receipts from Apple.
The title of every single one is "Your receipt from Apple." No reference number in the subject line.
I'd log in to my account to make sure nothing hinky was going on, but I'm thinking it's a scam.

I got a similar sort of email purporting to be from Amazon, saying the drone helicopter thing I had ordered was being shipped. I manually logged into Amazon and there was no sign of it in my account, so I deleted the email.

You can hover over the email it was sent from too, to see who sent it. Odds are good that it will be some weird random email address, and you can just hit delete.
I would still log into iTunes manually just to make sure nothing hinky is going on with your account.

And just to be on the safe side, change your password also.

Phishing. All of my iTunes Store receipts have an order number in the mail subject, but it's #2342, not No. 2342, etc.
In addition, there's no link at the bottom for cancel.apple.com.
Do NOT go to any links in the email.

Plus there's a weird period after the word Mac. They matched the font and everything, but they suck at English (as usual).

Yeah I got a similar email a few weeks ago about a purchase that I hadn't made. I figured it was spam or phishing and just deleted it.
