A coworker was just telling me how delicious Irish butter is the other day (something about it having a higher fat content than ours making it better, I think). But that said, I'll pass on this, thanks!

And I'm not going out looking for it! The last thing I need is better butter!!!

Danish butter - Lurpak. You're welcome. I'm just going to guess that I won't find that in the run of the mill grocery store we frequent. And I'm not going out looking for it! The last thing I need is better butter!!! Immediately made me think of that tongue twister Betty Botter bought a bit of butter; “But,” she said, “this butter’s bitter! If I put it in my batter It will make my batter bitter But a bit of better butter Will but make my batter better.” so she bought a bit of butter Better than her bitter butter, Made her bitter batter better. So ’twas better Betty Botter Bought a bit of better butter.

Would you be tempted to try a bit of 2,000 year old butter found in a bog in Ireland? That would be a no. Is it interesting that it was found? Sure. Do I want to taste it? Nope.

I honestly think I go through twice as much butter since I started using that damn Irish butter. It's so wonderful. I caution anyone who doesn't want to get fat like me to stick with our dull American butter.

I use Kerry Gold butter to make shortbread. Aldi's has it, at Christmas in the dairy section. Yum.

I don't think I'd try 2,000 year old butter.
I have seen Irish butter at the grocery store, so I guess I'm going to need to buy some!
