Why do they all have magnification? I don't want to see that shit and feel even worse. I found a cool one that attaches to my mirror in my bathroom. I figured that would give me daylight "light". While I love the lighted stick on suction feature, I hate the magnifying because it distorts. so what do you use?

Mine flips, one side is magnifying and the other normal.

I have a 7X mirror that I use to put my makeup on. It is essential to pluck all those lovely black hairs that grow overnight because the fertilizer fairy sprinkles her crap on my face while I'm sleeping. By using a 7X mirror, I figure I look 7X better than I think I do. ETA: Yeah, and what the previous poster said, it flips to normal.

Because I can't see without my glasses and I can't put my makeup on if I'm wearing them. I think my magnification mirror is 10X. Not pretty.

Whatever you do ~ NEVER, and I mean NEVER, bend over and look down into the mirror. Likewise, after a certain age, don't get on top with the lights on.

I have one that flips, and I use the magnifying one so I can address every stray hair and eye makeup flaw. I figure if I look passable in magnified daylight lighting, I'll look that much better in a normal setting!

my magnification mirror is 10X. Not pretty. Mine too. It's so demoralizing, but necessary to pluck the thick black chin hairs that weren't even there the night before.

Whatever you do ~ NEVER, and I mean NEVER, bend over and look down into the mirror. On a trip with my 90 year old mother, she introduced me to the horrors of gravity. We were discussing wrinkles and she asked if I had looked at myself lately upside down. WTF, mom? She insisted. So I did. Accckkkk! I haven't been that horrified in quite some time. It's humbling for sure.

Yup, when the eyesight goes, it's a necessity for applying makeup, especially eyeliner.

I don't use one because my dermatologist said to throw it out, so I did!

I have a 10x on one side and 1x in the other. The 10x is essential for plucking gross weird hairs that grow out of my face. My mirror was out of commission for about 10 days and I'm that time a 1 inch hair grew out of my chin. I will NEVER be without one again!

Need it for putting mascara on my blond lower lashes. And on the occasion that I wear eyeliner above my upper lashes. I like to get as close to the lash line as possible.

Sorry, you have to go to the site to watch HA! That's hilarious. But I'm not doing it. Ever. I still hate when that selfie thing rotates on my camera and surprises me. *shudder*
