I took my dad shopping for father's day because I wanted to get him something he would use and that's nice. We went to a golf store and I found him some nice, black shorts. That was what he wanted. (I also got him a golf shirt but that's not part of the story).
Why is it when men go shopping there are 15 pairs of different black, OR navy, khaki, beige whatever kind of shorts available in his size? He had his choice of any of these top brands. None were more expensive than other ones were. How do men get these options? It seems kind of unfair, really. *laughing* We had fun shopping together and I love what he chose, but we women need more options! It's true!

Irritating isn't it. Whenever I go shopping for myself they either don't have my size or have my size but not in the color I want. I never have a problem finding the right size or color for DH though.

Not only is every color in every size available, men's clothing comes in consistent waist x length sizing. Women's clothing is in subjective size numbers that differ with each brand

Another brand I sell won't fit anyone except really skinny people, and another brand fits but it's very low rise and disappointing to most. Men have it easy.

Women's clothing is in subjective size numbers that differ with each brand Here's another one I thought of, imagine if women's clothes were consistent. I.e. pants were 30" waist and the length was consistent, too. (I chose 30" because that's about a size 10?) If your waist was over 30" you would know they don't fit because you can measure. Or skirts that were appropriately sized all the time. A size 8 is 28" and it was straight across the board. It is a racket.
