I've seen this commercial several times recently for Trulicity, a medication for diabetics. The commercial shows a lovely woman who makes and sells beautiful jewelry at what looks like an out door craft fair. It shows her sketching her designs & going to a lake or river to find pretty stones to use in her jewelry.
Wish I knew where to find some of her jewelry to buy!
Anyone recognize her?

I'm not sure why this post brings my story to mind, but it does. I worked for a major credit card company for many years. Some of those years were spent in customer service. You know how if you receive a paper statement, there's usually a few bits of paper with deals for ginsu knives and such? Well, one December one of the inserts was a Seasons Greetings/ thank you for your business kind of "card" with a picture of a rustic cabin in a snow-covered field. A card member called in and wanted to know where the cabin was. He wanted to stay there.

I'm familiar with a bunch of jewelry artists because I'm always looking at their work for inspiration, so I was hoping I was going to be able to recognize the work and help find who it was. That necklace she "drew" and "made" really was awesome, but I don't know follow anyone who does anything like that.

Since you have seen a finished design you like, how about make one yourself? Personally, I think real stones would be too heavy but some faux clay "stones" seem to be do-able and you can make the size/number you want www.youtube.com/watch?v=syduFa06n6I A tutorial on makeing faux stones for jewelry.

Thanks for the video, voltagain! I will watch when I get a chance.. I was wondering how she drilled a hole through the stones..
I don't really have time to start a new crafty hobby but I might file that idea away until I do..
