Big Stone Gap is nice. I like Ashley Judd. Love blue blood. If you have amazon prime, I found a lot of movies there yesterday...I always forget about it. I enjoyed A Walk in the Woods, even though I swore I would never watch it because it is so painful to see Robert Redford looking so old. Nick Nolte looks so much worse, it's not so bad. I'm also enjoying Life (TV series) on Netflix now. How did I miss there is a Big Stone Gap movie? Love the book and will definitely watch this. Thanks for suggesting it . SaveSave

We watch mostly TV on Netflix but we did like the movie Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day and Hector and the Search for Happiness, both British. I noticed when I was checking that last title that they also have Will Smith's Pursuit of Happyness which is good but it is far more about the pursuit of than the actual happiness. We watched this Friday. It was really good. Just be sure to have tissues available towards the end! I cried, not that, that is hard for me....

The brass teapot was cute/disturbing all in one. The best of me was a good romance The loft was good & disturbing Thanks for the suggestion, I just spent the last almost 2 hours watching "The Loft." If you like murder mysteries, this one is pretty good but yes very disturbing! I stuck around because I love James Marsden.

It's not a movie, but I'm watching all the old Grey's Anatomy with DD. It's fun seeing the old episodes. So much happened that forst season. And I'm watching Mad Men. It's really interesting and fun to see the decor and the stuff we used to do as kids.

I love movies and that's what I watch Netflix for, so I'm irritated to hear about the upcoming changes. I have several suggestions for you, but since I don't know what you like I'm just going to list them and you can see if you like them based on their descriptions on Netflix. A couple are foreign language films. My all time favorite film-The Royal Affair is a Danish film that just got removed-so sad about that. It is a great movie.
Okay, here you go:
Jane Eyre (the 2011 version) Mansfield Park (the 1999 version) Becoming Jane Mona Lisa Smile The Missing The Diary of Anne Frank (2009 version) Almost Famous Alive Leap Year Philomena Beasts of No Nation Love Actually Serendipity Must Love Dogs The Holiday Anna and the King The Crucible Little Boy Female Agents Hachi (a huge tear jerker about dogs) Atonement The Railway Man Into the White Stardust Charlie St.Cloud How to make an American Quilt Erin Brackovich Primal Fear The Perfect Storm Vanity Fair Begin Again The Shawshank Redemption (until July 1) Into the Wild The Holiday The Way The Boy in the Striped Pajamas The English Patient
I hope that helps a bit.
Debbie in MD.
