It was created by the same people who brought us The Good Wife. I just watched it and was like   the entire time. Kind of a cross between House of Cards and Invasion of the Body Snatchers! ETA: without the sex of HOC! |

I watched it while ironing. It might be a show I'll watch while on the treadmill. I adore the actor who plays the senator's staff member, the one with the autistic sister. I loved him in Les Mis and in Graceland as an undercover FBI agent. I saw snippets of him in the live TV production of Grease as Danny Zuko.

I watched 30-40 minutes of it but thought if was so slow going I gave up on it and decided to watch a rerun of "Code Black" instead. That is a much better show! I thought "Brain Dead" was a snooze fest-so sorry. I just did not care for it at all. I really wanted to like it too.

PS Just want to make a note that the one I watched above was the first episode-I watched it On Demand last night. Maybe that one was a bit slower than the second episode that was on last night. I missed the first episode last week, so I watched it last night On Demand to see if I liked it.
Debbie in MD-and yes I do know how to edit, just decided to do it this way tonight. It's late and I'm tired.

I won't watch anything by them again after the whole crap ending they gave us on the goodwife. I never even bothered to watch the last two episodes of Good Wife. It went downhill fast. I am planning on watching Brain Dead even though I haven't gotten to it yet. I always watch two episodes before I give up on any show. Sometimes it takes two episodes for me to get into it. |

Yes, the episode I watched is the one where the sister arrives in DC. I thought episode 2 was on last night (night before last night) but I might have been mistaken. I would have given it two episodes before giving up on show (that sounds perfectly reasonable) but I couldn't even get through episode 1. I might give it another try.
Kind of like the show they made of before the Walking Dead, I forgot what it is called. The acting was so bad in that one I gave up 30 minutes into the first episode. Well, DS's remarks didn't help. Although my friend enjoys it. DS is a harsh critic.
I watched "Brain Dead" by myself.
