Are there any postcard collecting Peas? I started cleaning out yesterday and was surprised by the number of postcards I have received from others.
How did you get started in postcard collecting?

I do! I collect them from places I have been, and I even buy antique ones from places I have been. I especially like antique postcards of my hometown. I store them in bins, but a few I have framed and on the wall. I started collecting because right after I met my now DH, he was going on a long trip and started sending me a postcard from each stop. It was sweet.  |

Do you preserve them in plastic sleeves? How do you organize them?

Most of mine are in plastic bins, organized by location. I don't have a huge collection. Maybe a couple thousand. Some of them I have used in scrapbooks because I couldn't get a great photo of the place while I was there, and you usually don't find better pictures than on a postcard.
I think I have four framed, although we just moved and I don't have them on the wall yet. I need to find them and hang them up.
