It does that. Nitro blows open your veins. It's good for you if you're having a cardiac thing. I'm so glad you went! Even if there's no evidence of a cardiac event, better safe than sorry!

I am so glad you went. Your post about waiting an hour really worried me. Hope it is something minor.

Y'all are awesome. My cousin dropped me off so I'm glad I didn't interfere with the plans. The nausea is still pretty bad. I'm so grateful they got the IV in on the first try. They listened to me about my veins. Not how I wanted to spend today but that's okay. Today is my least favorite day of the year but it's almost over. I'm hoping they'll give me something for anxiety but I don't want to look like a drug seeker or for it to interfere wit results.

No. My cousin dropped me off. I didn't want his family to be affected. The doctor said they can keep me overnight for a stress test. I'm on the fence. Everything else came back okay.

The chemical one is really bizarre, it makes you sweat and your heart race. I've had both done and I would much rather do the regular one done.

If you are a candidate for the treadmill, they will choose that. You may have medications or other conditions, such as your asthma, that make a chemical test necessary. It's not horrible so you will be ok no matter what they choose! Keep on in mind that you WILL feel heart stress while they do it, that's part of finding out what's wrong. Try not to get upset worrying about it--we're here for you No caffeine tonight, try to rest and you will get your answers tomorrow.

So glad to hear you went in! My Mom is alive today because my sister called EMS despite her protests that she "just needed to lie down for a while". Hoping you're feeling better today!
