Utmr--I'm so sorry! I've only been on the peas sporadically the last couple of months, so I missed the original thread about their car accident.
It's so hard to lose your parents anyway, but I can't imagine how difficult it is to go through this additional trauma.
Be kind to yourself. I lost my dad suddenly, and my mom and stepmom fought over the estate for almost 5 years! Going to a grief counselor kept me from going crazy. I found a psychiatrist nurse practitioner that specialized in grief. She also adjusted my SSRI -- there's a DNA test that shows what meds will work best for you (less than $100 if your insurance doesn't cover it, mine did) Chronic pain causes depression, but the added grief caused major depression.
