If the vote were today, who would you vote for?
I did this earlier when the race was tightening up, but now we have two major party candidates and couple of lesser known (there was a Libertarian Town Hall meeting last night...) so I thought it would be interesting to do it again.
We have a lot of people here, and the political threads tend to get...heated...so there are good numbers of members who avoid them like the plague. I hope a thread with a poll will allow people to clicky click and not get too involved in discussions?

Neither will get my vote unless they bring in amazing VP candidates. Then, it will still be iffy.

I don't want to vote for either of them. Forced to choose, it would be Clinton because Trump is repulsive.
Though, I don't think I could bring myself to vote for her either.

As much as I have issues with Trump...it totally bothers me the blind eye we as a country have turned to Hillary. Nixon was impeached on less than the laws she has broken.

As of today, neither candidate. I've done my research on both & I just can't bring myself to pick one. I really hate this election.

I voted 'other' but have serious doubts if I will even vote this year. I have voted in every election since I was 18 and am distressed that I feel this way, but there ya have it. I have no desire whatsoever to see either of them in office. I am not registered rep or dem, but have always voted republican except one time a long time ago. I dislike them both immensely - there is not even a lesser of the 2 evils in my mind.

There are other candidates besides the evil twins. I wish people would look at them more seriously because I think they have a good chance to win if people would get over the thinking that you can only vote R or D.

I'm with her and not just because Never Trump (but that, too). I'm with her because I like her and I think she'll make a good president. To my dying day, I'll never understand the Hillary hate. Most of the things Trump accused her of in his speech yesterday were outright lies.

I cannot in good conscience vote for either. In my eyes they are both equally bad but for different reasons. I'm scared....

I can not vote for either of them. Hopefully there will be an awesome third party candidate, though I seriously doubt it.

If I had to today it would be Clinton, because while I do not like her, I can NOT vote for Trump. I wanted Bernie to get the nomination, but now I'm afraid he doesn't stand a chance and I'm afraid a vote for him(if possible) won't count against Trump as strongly as a vote for Clinton will..sad,but true.
I'm tempted to not even vote, but then that feels wrong, but when you don't like either it feels wrong to vote too. Curious as to who winds up as the running mates.

Both candidates suck. I have no idea who the hell I'm going to vote for. I have to vote. If I don't I have no right to bitch when shit goes south. I don't think that either candidate represents me and my values and I can't even pick one that is "the lesser of the two evils". They both have so much wrong with them and their campaigns. Sad state of affairs in the US if we don't have a 3rd party candidate!

I won't vote for Trump or Hillary, so if the election were today, I'd probably write someone in or just not vote at all.
I will strongly consider third party candidates come November.
Ugh... It's like choosing which STD you'd like to have... It's pathetic.

I seriously have no idea. Maybe their VPs will help, don't they usually announce them by now?

I voted Clinton. I may not like her on a personal level, but I do think she has a lot of political experience.
Trump frightens me. I think he is rash and allows his ego to lead his decisions and speech.
I'm not very familiar with other candidates.

Most of the things Trump accused her of in his speech yesterday were outright lies. Yep. Same. Hillary has proven by Poltifact to be the most honest of any candidates and a lot more honest than Trump. I will never understand how people can say they won't vote for Hillary because she is a liar and then they vote for Trump. I will be thrilled to have the first woman president. Happy to vote for Hillary.
