$20 plus shipping (TBD) for $100 in product. Can't guarantee unique boxes if you order multiples but they all will not be the same, however, they say no duplicates within each box (http://octoberafternoon.typepad.com/october_afternoon/2016/06/on-line-warehouse-box-sale-coming.html). I might buy 2 anyway.
Goes live at 9am pacific time on Monday. Santa sacks usually have the same value for $49.99...so this is a great price!

I saw that! So tempted. But on a freeze! Buuuuuutmy birthday is Wednesday Look at it this way. Would you be sad to have missed out if you find that they do not return like they say they will be? I know I want at least one simply because of that...I will be disappointed to not have one last buy with them if it does end up that they are in fact going out of business. I felt the same with the BG box but then found some stuff at TM (and had bought plenty in the months prior to the announcement) but OA has never been in discount stores that I'm aware of...so I know I'd kick myself for not buying at least one. I had already been upset because I gave Box 4 as a gift idea to my family (we did a secret santa type thing last year) after they insisted I give them scrappy suggestions and then they didn't get it for me...by that point it was sold out and I had really been looking forward to it since they had pushed so hard for scrapbooking related suggestions (and that is precisely why I don't usually give scrappy stuff as a suggestion...I just buy it myself because I hate missing out on a good deal and/or something I want...if I do give it as a suggestion, I make sure it's stuff that never goes on sale that I would never buy for myself...Papertrey Ink, for example). I'm using that as my justification for this box.

So tempted. But on a freeze! Me too! Refupeas is horrible for my freeze! I only allow page protectors, adhesive, and photo printing during my freeze. I had to buy page protectors and adhesive today! Must not buy OA box. Must not go to Joann's with 60% off coupon. Must....Not....

What a great deal!! impearia you'd like this! MDscrapaholic you remembered my OA obsession! I DO like this, like Christmas in (almost) July! I will be getting two boxes for sure. If I get duplicates, so what! Its OA after all. It is my sincere hope that they are clearing out stock etc to make liquid cash to help fund new lines. Hey, a girl can hope, can't she? anniefb the shipping will probably be fairly high as their boxes tend to be packed. At least $30 maybe even $40. I will say, however, I have NEVER been disappointed with an OA box and I have bought plenty. Check out You Tube videos for "October Afternoon Santa Sacks" and you will see what I mean. Of course you have to love October Afternoon (I DO! I DO!) but if you do then they have always been worth it in the past.SaveSave

I am obsessing about this...I can't wait, I can't wait!
While we are waiting anyone want to share what they are hoping to get in their boxes?
I could use a bit more Apple Cider and Milk Money. i wouldn't mind some extra papers from Treasure Map.
I would take any Stick N Chip I could get my greedy little hands on and any 12x12 shape stickers, in particular Cakewalk!
Oh and I have never been able to get a set of the Travel Girl word stickers.
I can't believe I am going to say this, but I think I have enough mini markets for now...

I can't believe I am going to say this, but I think I have enough mini markets for now... I desperately want the tree paper from Apple Cider (either I didn't see it or a project someone made sparked my need of it and by then it was out of stock everywhere) but I'd be happy with anything from the collection (I received bits from a prize pack and loved it and regretted not giving it a closer look when it was new) and Treasure Map. I don't love their cream base, which is why I love Apple Cider. Browns and oranges lend themselves better to cream bases and that's what Autumn is all about. Oddly enough, even with my dislike for cream bases, I think the most fully represented season/time frame in my scrapbooks is Fall. I LOVE the colors of Autumn and find them easiest to work with. My guess, from the perspective of a scrapbooker who likes to match color tones in photos to papers, is because it is easier to match those colors since that's when family related events start for us and those colors are usually represented everywhere we go, which means no effort in colors coordinating. And then, by the time I get to Christmas photos, I've enjoyed scrapping Autumn so much, I am usually on scrappy burnout and am more focused on gift shopping than scrapping. Did I ever go down a rabbit trail, or what?

I find cream is sifter and works better for my type of scrapping. I think creams look great with photos of people; sometimes white bases can be too harsh. Save

I cannot wait, but I can't be online until an hour or so after they go live, please leave some for me! I would love any Daily Flash stuff and I would burst into tears of joy if it was really old lines, but I don't see that happening. Whatever it is, it will be loved and used.

If (and to me that is a HUGE if) they stay in business, because they are selling certain fixtures in their warehouse, I wouldn't be shocked if they were paring down and going completely out of their home. That would explain the randomness of these (unlike Santa Sacks that are all the same), so who knows, they might dig deep. I was hoping for more recent stuff in the Fancy Pants box and most of it was pretty ancient (and only their most recent lines really appeal to me, so it wasn't a huge hit for me...but it was a gift, so I can't say I wasted any money on it). I almost want to order right away and then order again later in the day so I can optimize my shot at different boxes.

Since none of the manufacturers ever seem to reorder anything once it sells out, I think at this point I would count on it being the dregs of whatever is left from the less popular lines and just maybe you'll get lucky.

You would be surprised...I have received some pretty ancient OA (just a paper or embellishment here or there) in the Santa Sacks. Papers from Sarsaparilla, Farm House, Holiday Style, Sidewalks and i think even one from Fly a Kite...it really depends on what they still have lying around. SaveSave

I am actually hoping to get some older things. When OA started up, I had a lot less money to spend on scrapping so I was only able to buy a smattering from each line. I have more than plenty of the newer lines.

If I had my pick I'd love some of Road Map, which I've only seen, but don't any of. (Love, love that deep red plaid!) Sea Side looks cute too! I wouldn't mind some papers. Another old one would be Modern Homemaker and Rocket age, especially the word stickers! I'd be super happy with anything from Holiday Style, Make It Merry, Travel Girl, Saturday Morning, Daily Flash etc. The only recent line I'm not crazy about was Public Library. Other than line, I'd be happy with any of the recent stuff.
Most all I'm Really, really hoping for the word stickers from Witch Hazel. Somehow I didn't get them when they were out. :-(
When I mentioned to my DH about the boxes and OA potentially being no more his reply was.....well, you better get a couple boxes then.. :-)

I'm so torn. I want to get 2 boxes...but I also asked another fave company (The Greeting Farm) if they were going to be releasing another round of their Spooky kit (8 1/2 x 11 rubber with 8 images and tons of sentiments). They told me (after I just bought 6 stamps, lol) that they were restocking it this weekend...it's a $48 set. I really just want the boy in the pumpkin costume and the girl in the fairy costume (there are several 'monsters' that are a bit redundant, but the ones that aren't are out of the world adorable). I'm trying to be better with my spending so I don't think I can justify 2 boxes AND getting that stamp. I might be able to get away not feeling guilty if I were to get just one box and the stamp set...and this is why my room will never stop growing, lol.

I say get the stamps and 1 box...that way you can have variety! Save

I'm still learning my copics, but I've found with blending solution, I'm much happier with colored pencils because it's not as hard and there isn't much of a learning curve other than staying inside of the lines. I have played with them on coloring book pages, but not yet on these little guys. I should, though!

Oh !!! I'm so tempted. I adore so many of their lines, but there are some that even though I think they are really cute I know I won't use them. I also like to have a good assortment of product from a line and I know I won't be happy with a hodge-podge of stuff that doesn't go together. I would love to have a bunch of mini market alphabets. Definitely some of my favorite alphabet stickers. I really wasn't thrilled with my BG warehouse box and swore then that I wouldn't order anymore. I do love OA though. Guess I will see how much they charge for shipping. If it's not outrageous I might order. Wishful thinking, but I wish they could have different categories of boxes that at least gave you some sort of idea what lines the box contained.
