Besides a 1970's fab terry cloth sweat band, what do you use? I prefer not to look like Jane Fonda, but the sweat when I run is burning my eyes.
Thanks.

I have no advice, since the only time I would run is if I'm being chased by a serial killer or a rabid animal, and even then I might just size them up instead. But your post gave me a good laugh...so thanks!

What about a visor? I usually run with one to keep sun out of eyes

Well I wear the Olivia Newton John headband..... but I don't wear it around my head like she does in her video, I wear it like a real headband. I work out and wear what I do for functionality, not to impress anybody.

I wear a Bolder Band. Not to run, because I don't do that, but for other exercise. They're not terribly absorbent, but they do help - and they keep my bangs off my forehead and out of my eyes.
That kind of wide printed headband is very popular right now, and I'm sure they make them in more absorbent material.

TankTop, I guess the Bolder Bands are wicking rather than absorbent. IDK, I wear them because my friends do. Ha. And they're cute and stay in place.

Check out the Sweat Gutr or a Halo headband. They're designed for cyclists but I bet they'd work for running too. My husband has a Halo and can't ride without it.
Lana
Edited to add: Bondi bands might be more what you're looking for. They have some cute ones!

They also just introduced visors.
I got my DH hooked on them too.

I found a small company called Vero Brava on Facebook and ordered a headband for me and one for my daughter. We really like them. They stay in place for my workouts and her gymnastics classes.

I was just talking about this with a friend about those 80's/90's sweat bands. I say bring them back Fonda style. We were rocking those things back then.

Visors by head sweats are greats. They have a terry cloth lining that absorbs the sweat.

Another old school terry headband wearer. Wal-Mart has them, they're cheap and the way I sweat I need the absorbent terry, especially this time of year.

I have a few bolder bands and I love them. They stay in place through a 45 minute Combat Cardio class with no slipping...and they do keep the sweat out of my eyes.

I like my Bondi bands. I got them from llbean using coupons. They totally keep the sweat off my forehead, which is an amazing accomplishment if you ever see me exercise.

I wear a cap when I run TankTop. Has a multitude of uses - keeps the sweat from dripping, your head dry when it's raining and for me at least the rain off my glasses.

I run with an Under Armour visor but at the gym I'll wear headbands from there or Junk Brands are similar to the Bolder ones.
