If she was dying of fever, then why was there all the blood like she'd just given birth? This was my thought. Too much blood to be dying of fever. That was a direct pointing (well, in my head) of a woman who had just given birth and was most likely continuing to hemorrhage and that led to her dying. Or am I overthinking it?

I also thought the blood was due to childbirth. I think also that showing Jon right after showing the baby pointed to the baby being Jon.

It was pretty obvious that she was dying from childbirth and not fever? WTF? and the pan away to Jon was also very very plain.

Ned had no loyalty to Rhaegar and Elia. He would have had no reason to shelter their baby. To even lie to his wife about it, affecting their marriage from that point on, the baby had to be his nephew.

I think he would have taken the baby as his own even if it weren't Lyanna's.

I don't think anything obvious should be taken as truth. Like I said, that's too easy. Damn it. Where is that nurse?

Don't trust anything HBO says or what they post on their blog. They forced Kit Harrington to lie for 10 months about being dead and he had to tell everyone that he would never ever be on the show again.

cade387 we rewatched from the beginning and it was amazing how much stuff I caught. AND I let my DH talk during the shows the second time around. He's a big fan of the books and fleshed out a bunch of storyline for me. But the first time watching it was a NO TALKING EVER viewing!!

Would you have enjoyed watching the episode with his resurrection as much if his interviews during those 10 months had instead said "Oh yeah, Melisandre is gonna bring me back in a couple episodes, don't worry!"?

Has anyone read the books? I know the series is ahead of the books now but I'm thinking maybe the books might be a good read

I saw him interviewed on several talk shows and on those shows he just said it was true that he was dead. That was it.
