Oh dammit. I was hoping further updates would be horrible and put me off. But I LOVE them! So versatile...even cars and travel and great for so many everyday type pages.
I am pretty much on a spending freeze this year, I might make this line my exception. Unless someone has a line with cute animals in which case I'm done for.

Love Shimelle! But the collection is not my cup of tea. I do love the copper touches.

I like a fair amount of this. The color palette us fantastic. Love the dark blues. I think it looks like cross between OA and Simple Stories, heavier, on the Simple Stories influence.
There is some of this I will get though, and that will be it from AC so far.

Majorly underwhelmed. But then again I don't really like her layouts - her process videos are fun to watch but it is not my style AT ALL.

Love the embellishments, the paper doesn't wow me which is good because I have a healthy paper stash that will work well with the embellies. That's the route I'm taking!

For anyone interested Shimelle has posted a bit about the new collection, including a sample on her blog. She also says a video of the product will be up on her You Tube channel later today! Shimelle's blog article

I like it. I like most of what Shimelle does. Even when I think "ugh, not that piece", I find a perfect use for it. But agree with marie, I spent a small fortune collecting the Starshine collection. I won't be doing that again. Even when AC has their stuff together, no ONE store every seems to carry the whole line.

I definitely like this a lot better than I thought I would. It is like a hybrid travel/school line. I think I'll be buying the lot of it again.

I love Shimelle, but sometimes her lines can be a bit too primary colorish for my taste. (Nothing against it...just something I have a hard time using!) However, there are usually a few things I want from each of her lines and this one is no exception! Off to watch the video...

I want the copper vellum...I hope more collections have copper in them for the Autumn so I can buy bits from some collections to mix in with others. It goes so well with the rich tones of the season. As always, I'm in trouble with the fall stuff. I don't need all of this line, but there are bits that I really really want. I hope that the 12x12 paper pad makes it to Michael's like all but her Christmas line have (and I fully expect to see the Christmas paper pad as well as the one from Pink Paislee...that M's featured in their ads last holiday but was the wrong one...this year).

I have never tried to buy a whole collection so I'll be looking for a vendor or two that have all the pieces that I do want to get. I'm not all that excited by the OA vibe but the theme is one that I get a lot of use out of.

Why did I watch the video-- I now want every piece of paper in that line. This is. The only new line I can say that about. I only will pass on those scratch off stickers.

For everyone who is concerned with getting the whole collection at once I highly recommend keeping your eyes peeled around the end of July the beginning if August and jumping on it as soon as it drops. I did that with Starshine, and I got everything I wanted but the 6x6 pad from Paper issues. Later on I topped up at Scrapbook.com. It can be done, but you have to be vigilant!

I like the line better now that I've watched the video and seen more of it. Not even half as much as I liked Starshine, but there are a few things I might want to get my grabby hands on. And I think I'll like it more as I see her use it. Although not the first layout she posted.

I like it. Nice to see some more masculine colors. But my concern is the availability. I spent a small fortune on shipping charges to get the items I wanted from Starshine and Maggie Holmes Bloom. No way am I doing that again. I agree. I hate that I can only find a few papers or embellishments at my LSS. And usually never the line I like. If I really like a line I have to cobble it together from multiple places and pay shipping from all those places. As I said on another thread, I sorely miss Archivers (even if my wallet doesn't). lisacharlotte- you can order online from Archivers- Archivers website . Sign up for their emails- they quite often have sales.

There are a few items I would like.
But is anyone else kind of like what the what when it comes to the scratch off stickers??? Unless its on a card why would you want that on a layout? Dont make something interactive just to have an interactive item in your kit.

Dont make something interactive just to have an interactive item in your kit. I think they make more sense for cards, but Studio Calico (yes, I know everyone hates them now, but I liked the paper) had some scratch off papers last year and I LOVED them! There were these scratch off polka dots and I used them on layouts and they were cute (I think!) Here is one of the pages I did with the scratch offs... Save

Dont make something interactive just to have an interactive item in your kit. This was the one item I was totally prepared to hate. Then I watched the video and started to see how I could use them. This is now on my maybe list, and if I do get them I'll do something like impearia did.

I have just watched the video and I love it more than I thought. I can see me using nearly all the papers - some of the A-sides are a bit much, but the corresponding B-sides are lovely. I'm always a bit picky about embellishments, so I won't get them all, but there are still a lot I would use/buy.

Love it! Will buy for sure: lots of the papers - maybe the collection pack. And the thickers. I'm a sucker for old train/plane departure board look. Also really like the gridded map paper and the cut aparts.

Peamac I have ordered from Archivers Online. Unfortunately they don't carry everything in a single line either. I get to the point that when I find all the pieces I want and add all the shipping from multiple places, it's no longer cost effective. I have lots of disposable income, but I'm too cheap to pay that much over retail price for stuff I really don't need. I used to only shop at Archivers when they were still b&m. People online were always bitching about not having coupons and paying full retail. This is where that thinking got us. Very few LSS and nobody carrying a full line.

Also, I don't shop at Michaels either because they don't carry much scrapbooking supplies at all. Now I only shop at Hobby Lobby or either of the LSS I have in town.
