Recap about yesterday from hamster watch:
Unicorn shoes
Nicole wrote her blog and tweets, and the camera came out right on cue.. the vets were a lot more excited about it at first than the newbies, but they started coming around when the vets said the pics were "for the internet," especially Jozea
He's still confident about staying this week, and he added savior to his self-appointed resumé items house owner, messiah, mastermind, future Grammys host, and the next Mario Lopez
Da'Vonne told Tiffany that James might be starting to question her (Tiffany), and Tiffany took that to Nicole and then directly to James.. they smoothed it over (for now) but her voice and language while parannoying was so like Vanessa it was eerie.. that episode made Zakiyah voice a little concern about Tiffany to Nicole
A shoe delivery arrived in the pantry labeled for Bronte, James, Natalie, Victor, and they and others ran around trying to figure out why nobody else got them, and what could it all mean?! Frank finally explained that Team Unicorn were the only ones who didn't play the sand castle comp, and everyone else had their shoes already, adding "bunch of amateurs around here!"
Meanwhile, Nicole and Da'Vonne did a little dance number for everyone, Bronte and Da'Vonne trashed each other to their respective cronies (as did others), Paulie's flirt 'n cuddle rounds carried on, and Jozea and Natalie made chicken dinner for everyone, with only a little drama attached
They got a booze delivery and the drinkers got loud, like they do, and they did some rapping.. none of them were too great but when non-drinking Paul showed up and joined in, Da'Vonne's face spoke for all of us
Later they all separated and scattered into their groups and carried on their bitching about the other groups, but a highlight was Bridgette, Bronte, Natalie laughing about Jozea's ridiculous future plans to let people volunteer as tributes when he's HOH - until that, I'd only heard them agreeing with him, so it was good to know that they know he's full of it.. as of now, he's still going Thursday 7-4 (and he and his buffoons still think Paulie's going)
Update There was a bit of late night drama that apparently came out of Victor telling Natalie she ate too much cheese and her pants were dragging on the ground - Flashback 6/29 1.30am.. it was pretty much a non-thing on the surface but Natalie had a minor rant to the girls and Victor apologized to her.. there was also a lie (prank) in there somewhere about Victor asking out Nicole.. Paul blew up about James stirring, Jozea blew up and thought he ran damage control, Bronte ran real damage control, and a good time was had by all

Anyone else worried that Jozea may be able to "flip" the house. I.E. production manipulates it so that he stays because he has such great delusions that keep people entertained?

A few things I'm pulling out of assorted overnight recaps: Jozea confirmed they moved in June 15. Nicole in the storage room told Frank she'd rather take him to the F2 than James. They shook hands & celebrated on their F2 agreement. Zakiyah broke down crying because she's homesick. Jozea & Bridgette were comforting her. Frank joked "there's the door" (she laughed & they hugged). Jozea did her make up to cheer her up. There was huge newbie drama last night. I'm just going to copy & paste this from Jokers (read from bottom to top)

Anyone else worried that Jozea may be able to "flip" the house. I.E. production manipulates it so that he stays because he has such great delusions that keep people entertained? Natalie has brought up at least twice that I've seen that Jozea might not have enough votes. Jozea blew her off before, but he and Paul actually talked about it last night. They said they "know" they have 5 solid votes (we know they should have four: Victor, Bronte, Natalie, & Paul). Jozea is confident they have Da'Vonne b/c of her skin color (Paul isn't as sure), and they think they have Frank also. They used to think they had James, but I'm guessing they might've moved on from that after the latest drama. They did think they had Zakiyah but think she may not vote out Paulie since she likes him; they think she might vote out Bridgette. Out of the other side, I don't see who they could flip, but this is the point where that could start happening. Objectively, the advantage to keeping Jozea is that he literally has no idea how to play the game.

In the spirit of HG-shaming, let pull out a few more remarks. Wed 2:15 AM BBT Paul complaining about James, calls him "Little Korean Man". NT - PowerofVito Wed 2:50 AM BBT Bronte about James: "I'll send you back to Hong Kong!" She snickers. NT - HumblePie Wed 3:31 AM BBT Bronte again says "I'll send him back to" She catches herself & instead of Hong Kong, says "whatever little place he comes from" NT - PowerofVito Source = Jokers

Overnight recap from Big Brother Network: bigbrothernetwork.com/big-brother-18-live-feeds-highlights-night-2016-06-28/4:00 PM BBT – Bridgette with Bronte talk about the vote. They still think Paulie will go.
4:30 PM BBT – Jozea getting a little worried. Natalie tells him to stay cool and no worries.
4:45 PM BBT – Natalie and Jozea don’t trust Paulie because he didn’t initially divulge his Cody connection, but later after the Vets showed up he didn’t reveal it. Natalie seems to be hung up on Victor and how he put an end to their showmancing (before the Feeds started).
5:00 PM BBT – Jozea tells Frank he’s a little worried. Frank says not to be and that it’s just the Block making you paranoid.
5:10 PM BBT – Bronte thinks something is going on with the vote because no one has pitched her a deal to try and save Paulie. Bronte wants to put up Nicole and Corey if she gets HoH.
5:15 PM BBT – Tiffany is pitching the idea to Paulie that they warn the other side just before the vote. She thinks maybe they can make a side deal with Natalie and Paul in case they get the power. She wants to wait and make the deal when they’re scared.
5:45 PM BBT – Frank talks about joking with Victor that he helps write the show and DR calls him in when they’re stuck. Big Brother announces that they can’t talk about DR sessions. Frank exclaims that he doesn’t really help them write the shows though!
5:45 PM BBT – Da’Vonne talks with Tiffany to warn her that James is getting nervous with Tiff talking to the other side. Tiffany says that it’s James who is doing that. Tiffany thinks he’s nervous about her because she reminds him of Vanessa.
6:15 PM BBT – Team James gets competition shoes. HGs try to figure out why only their team got them. (Everyone else got them with the second round of the first comps.)
6:30 PM BBT – Tiffany is upset about James not trusting her. She goes to talk with James directly about his concerns. They resolve it, at least on the surface.
6:35 PM BBT – James says if the HoH comp is a team challenge then he’ll throw it. Hmm. That plan didn’t go so well with James last year.
6:40 PM BBT – Nicole tells Zakiyah that Tiffany isn’t mad at them and that she was only concerned with James.
6:46 PM BBT – Day telling her version of what went down with Tiffany and James. She tells Frank that Tiffany must have overheard James and herself talking. Frank is annoyed with having to “babysit” Tiffany.
6:56 PM BBT – Tiffany and Day talk things over. Tiffany explaining to Day what she and James talked about. Tiffany is annoyed that everyone seems to be on edge with her. Tiffany tells Day she will smooth things over with everyone else. Tiffany is especially worried that Nicole is mad at her.
7:14 PM BBT – James telling Frank about the conversation with Tiffany. Frank again mentions having to babysit Tiffany. Frank says Tiffany needs to keep herself in check because they are all she has because the other side of the house doesn’t like her.
7:30 PM BBT – Nicole says she doesn’t have a crush on Corey. She says he’s like a brother.
8:20 PM BBT – HGs hanging out, cooking or exercising. Things have calmed down for now.
8:45 PM BBT – Zakiyah and Day talk about the “stank-face” looks they’re getting from Bronte and Natalie (mostly Bronte).
9:16 PM BBT – Day and Frank talking game. Frank says he’s ready for some of these people to hit the road. They again talk about Tiffany being problematic.
9:22 PM BBT – Frank says if Tiffany doesn’t watch herself she could end up on the block. He and Day agree that after this week they don’t even need an eighth person. Frank says he hopes she doesn’t end up wearing that hat everyday like Vanessa.
9:25 PM BBT – Zakiyah is talking with Frank and Day too and suggests replacing Tiffany with someone.
9:44 PM BBT – Booze delivery.
9:45 PM BBT – Jozea asks Day how she thinks things are going. She tells him she thinks it’s all good as long as he has his people on lock. Jozea tells Day that “they” are trying to sway Zakiyah. Day asks him who they are. He says Michelle and Tiffany are trying to get Zakiyah to vote with them.
9:48 PM BBT – Jozea says it’s 100 percent that Bridgette will have zero votes and then everyone else will sway for he or Paulie. He calls Michelle a floater but says he feels totally secure with everyone.
9:55 PM BBT – HGs decide to play Never Have I Ever.
10:13 PM BBT – The drinking game breaks up before anyone loses their jobs or incites any Twitter riots.
10:15 PM BBT – The 8 Pack have a little toast. They make fun of the Revolution’s alliance name.
10:17 PM BBT – James says they should be called The Quack Pack and Frank says he will kill him. He explains to the newbies of the group that that was the alliance that got him out of the house.
10:18 PM BBT – The 8 Pack discuss changing their name but they decide to stay with it.
11:04 PM BBT – Nicole and Frank shake on a final two deal in the storage room.
11:35 PM BBT – Jozea surprised to discover former HGs do not have agents. This may be his first realization that post-BB life is often about as glamorous as pre-BB life.
11:50 PM BBT – Zakiyah is feeling homesick and is comforted by Jozea and Bridgette. Frank teases her the best cure is to walk out the front door. (He’s kidding.)
12:30 AM BBT – Corey discovers bread in his pillowcase. He wrongly blames Nicole and goes to find her. James uses this opportunity to put more bread in the pillowcase.
12:45 AM BBT – Jozea thinks Paulie isn’t worried because no one has told him he’s going home.
1:45 AM BBT – Jozea is asking Victor to go apologize to Natalie about a pants comment. Jozea says it’s going to snowball against them if Victor doesn’t fix this now. Victor is not happy but goes to get Natalie and apologize.
1:55 AM BBT – Paul drags Bronte outside to rant. Paul is furious and says if he gets hushed again he’s going to scream. Jozea is there and furious about the girls’ “feminist power thing.” Paul says if he gets told it’s “girl talk” again he’s going to “punch [Bridgette] in the face.”
2:09 AM BBT – Paul is still ranting about the women and James. He calls James the “Little Korean Man.”
2:20 AM BBT – Paul is still huffing and puffing over the situation.
2:35 AM BBT – Jozea and Natalie discussing a rumor that James said Victor asked out Nicole, but Natalie has no recollection of James saying that to her. (He didn’t and Bronte made it up.)
2:40 AM BBT – Paul promises to start punching people if (when) Jozea gets evicted and he’ll leave in handcuffs. Paul suggests they poison the other side’s food.
2:46 AM BBT – Bronte says she just about choked James and will “send [James] back to Hong Kong.”
3:10 AM BBT – Jozea feels confident about getting Da’Vonne’s vote because, according to Jozea, “Day doesn’t want to go to the end with Caucasian people.” Delightful, Jozea.
3:30 AM BBT – Houseguests are finally settled in to bed.
Well that got ugly quick in the last hours of the night. Victor made a comment about the length of Natalie’s pants that upset her. From there we got off-the-handle flying from Paul threatening to hurt the other HGs and fury over the “feminist power thing” from Jozea. This should be an interesting Thursday!

HOH lockdown over 10:40a BBT.
Sleep didn't do anything to diffuse tempers in the house. Last night, James put crackers in Corey's boxers while he was sleeping. Corey woke and tossed the crackers onto Victor/Jozea's bed. Those two + Paul were ticked off to find cracker all over this morning. Victor started yelling about how petty these pranks are. Those 3 + Bronte were in the kitchen. Paul said he's going to sh*t in James' bed as a prank. Vic said he'll sh*t in James' mouth. Paul said he hopes Nicole gets melanoma.
James went into the kitchen & he and Vic started trading barbs. Vic told James he needs to quit doing it; James told Vic he needs to lighten up.
Corey & Natalie walked into the room and things kinda cooled off. Paul & James then started having a normal conversation about chess.

Good grief, these people today!
Natalie/Bronte talking together. They still think Paulie is getting voted out. They still don't trust Bridgette. Bronte said she doesn't like James anymore and would never hang out with him outside the house. She said the other side of the house are all horrible people, they're ratchet, and she wants them all out of the house. She called James a f***tard and said she wants to kick his little Asian a$$ all the way back to Hong Kong or wherever he came from.
Natalie was not joining in the bashing; she was keeping pretty quiet with an occasional "you're funny" thrown in.
Bronte did then say she felt bad about what she said about James, she does like him, but she doesn't like liars.
Now the Spy Girls are going to bake snickerdoodles for Paulie as one nice final gesture.

Do these people not think before they speak or is this normal for them? Astounding, isn't it? I've never heard anything like this from Bronte until the past 24hrs. The three guys (Jozea/Victor/Paul) have all said some crappy things, but most of what I've heard before is Vic/Paul wanting to punch people or whatever. Oddly, Paul is one trying to distance himself a bit from Jozea, and he's already acting cool w/James and playing chess w/Nicole; it's like he has an edit function that he hasn't figured out how to properly use yet. When Jozea says stupid stuff, whether it's Messiah talk or that Day will do whatever because she's black, I think he really believes it in his own delusional/ignorant kind of way. Vic has a temper; I've heard multiple comments about it from HGs on all sides, so I'm guessing he was hot-headed over stuff during the week before the feeds even came up. Oddly, I'd swear they had a conversation last week about watching what you say because it can hurt you (career, personal life, etc) outside the house, and I *think* it was Paul sharing that bit of wisdom.

You can tell these people are all recruits with not concept of BB History. Wasn't it Season 15 that Aaryn got into all kinds of hot water outside the house for her racist statements? That whole season was ugly with the comments. We're on the path to another just like it.
The dumb part -- all of these young people are well aware of social media and the problems that can stem from making a poor choice on Twitter or Facebook or wherever. Do they really think that having their every move recorded 24/7 is going to not have similar consequences if they are saying hateful, ugly things?
Except that I like Paulie so far, part of me wishes Jozea was staying on for a while. I'd like to see him and his delusions expand. I'd like to see him continue with his nasty comments. Then, I'd like to see him booted to reality where he finds out that he's not well liked, definitely doesn't need an agent, and will be forgotten shortly.

That whole season was ugly with the comments. We're on the path to another just like it. Here's an article I just found saying the same thing: Will Racist Comments Plague 'Big Brother 18'? I think Michelle & Zakiyah are the only newbies who are fans. (Siblings don't count.) Pretty sure Glenn was but that doesn't matter. Bronte did audition for last year but had only watched one season, and I'm not sure offhand about Bridge but I think I remember Zak saying she expected her to know the game better than she does. *whispers* I feel guilty but almost thought the same thing! At this point, Jozea is hilarious to me. He's a caricature of himself and it's funny. I do want Paulie to stay but wouldn't mind Bridgette going. She adds nothing to this game for me right now.

That's the problem with getting rid of the annoying, loud ones early on in the game. The houseguests become boring too quickly when there isn't someone in there being a spoon.

Even though they are told the cameras are 24/7 and everywhere it seems like they get comfortable with it so quickly and/or think they have some control of the edit and/or what is seen in the feeds, that they relax into themselves and for some, what is behind the facade is pretty ugly. Naively, if they've never seen the show, they may even think that nothing ugly will get out there (even on live feeds?!) because CBS will protect them - afterall, they are celebrities now. SaveSave

They definitely need to keep Jozea for soundbites ... he's annoying but he makes for good TV and live feed I don't necessarily want to see Paulie go but it wouldn't be a big deal to me because I don't have him in the Pool I really hate the racist comments this season ... not acceptable at any time
