I usually identify a poster by their avatar, not their name (visual learner!). Here are just some of my random thoughts: *I always think "Laura Dern" (the actress) when I see the avatar for @formerlytravelagent . Pretty! *TankTop's avatar creeps me out... but I love her posts so always read them! *The avatar for @ihavetoomuchstuff looks like a high school classmate. I've lost track of her but she was really nice. * Katie looks like one of my favorite lab technicians at work. What do YOU think when you see someone's avatar? |

Lol! I have debated changing mine from time to time, but I am sort of attached to his ugly self. No changing avatars!!! It's the only way I know who the heck is who. And I totally agree with the Laura Dern comparison. I've thought the same thing. |

I have avatars and signatures turned off so I can browse on the DL. I don't even know what my own avatar is!
I agree that it does help to remember people by the avatars.
