How is everyone doing their nails for July 4th? I am going to just do a red or blue polish, but not sure which one yet. My kids may try something fancy!

I got these Coconuts by Incoco polish strips at Wal-Mart. They were only $5, but the sizes are off so some nails have a bit of a gap at the sides but it's not very noticeable in person. In any case, they were cheap, so who cares. I've gotten a lot of compliments on them! I'll be so sick of this by the time the 4th comes around.

My nails are such a mess. Every time the "what's on your nails" thread comes around I say I'm gonna get some pretty paint going. Missed another one. Zg those look awesome! I have Jamberry patriotic wraps but the vinyl never sits right on my nails no matter what I do. Creased sides or tip. It's always one or the other.

I have an easier time using polish strips instead of the vinyl type, as far as getting them smooth. I've read lots of tips to get the vinyls smooth including a hair dryer, hair straightener, etc and I know someone here sells them so maybe she can help! I like the look of jamberry wraps but I get really bored having the same nails for more than a few days, so I mostly don't bother.

I am wearing red nailpolish. It looks very festive for Canada Day. It's OPI but I forget the name. I love the colour!

Love the nail pictures!
It was supposed to be sunny here for the 4th, but now they are calling for rain. Not happy! So not sure if I will do my nails because it looks like all the festivities in our area will be rained out. May just do my regular summer colors.

My nails aren't festive - I'm still wearing the OPI "Kiss Me I'm Brazilian" gel I had put on over two weeks ago. I just bought a Zoya Naked Nanicure kit so I'll try that as soon as I soak off the gel polish; hopefully tonight or tomorrow. Attachments:

I have OPI If You Moust You Moust (a bubblegum pink, which I discovered is identical to Zoya Wendy) on my fingers and Essie Turquoise and Caicos on my toes. I'm inspired to do something fun on my fingers now, though! I'll work on that today.

Nothing Fourth of July-ish. I have Essie Bachelorette Bash on my toes and Essie Guilty Pleasure on my short stubby fingernails. I cannot have long nails, it makes me nuts since they're so brittle, but I still keep the stubs manicured and polished. :/

I did a minimalist type of nail for the holiday. Tonight my BFF and I are going to see Mary Sarah (local gal who was on The Voice this last season) perform at Big Texas in Spring, so they work for state and federal. I can just swap out the ring fingers for red if I want after Monday. Nina Ultra Pro - Red Fox, French White, Cobalt PS - Freehand stars are hard to do! Attachments:

I'm pretty sure it's Incoco Stars & Stripes? I've had them about a week, so they're looking a little raggedy, but they're fun. I've gotten lots of comments.
