Disclaimer ~ I am only viewing Facebook through the app on my iPhone and Kindle, so I don't know if the desktop is doing this as well.
Has anyone noticed that the same posts are showing up over and over and over? Not Sponsored posts, but posts from people you know, pages you follow, or groups you belong to? I usually am lazy and just view what comes up, but since I've noticed this over the last week I keep switching to Most Recent and the same thing is happening. And no, it's not because people keep commenting on the post so it's bumping up. It's even posts from days ago where nothing new is showing up. It's freaking annoying.

yes, I noticed a duplicate right next to the same post...no new comments, etc. I am also seeing a lot more my friends posts to/from other people I don't know and a lot of likes etc (vs shares). I haven't hidden so many likes/friends of friends in forever. I have to wonder if they changed the algorithm again.

Yes, this has been an ongoing problem for several weeks. I also get a connection error message too. What I find I have to do is completely close out the app. Not just closing the program but going into the open programs and closing it completely out of there so it's forced to reload. I have to do that EVERY time I want it to update. It's a HUGE PITA and so I've been trying to just not log in from my phone.

This is not happening to me but my husband has been having this problem for several days now. I bet it has something to do with the big changes they have coming up soon.

YES! Driving me crazy! If I didn't care that you were wearing your hair in braids yesterday, I don't care today.

They're changing the algorithm so that you will see more of what your friends actually post. Shares and likes will come second and stuff from pages last. Actually what most of us have been asking for forever.

Actually what most of us have been asking for forever. They need to work on the algorithm, then, because 75% of what keeps reappearing is from groups I belong to.

I hate this. I keep hitting most recent. I feel like there's nothing new to see and I must be on Facebook too often.

Facebook redid the algorithm so that you will see more friends and family members posts. I imagine that this will show up in the near future so you will see it.
