Happy 4th of July ladies!! I hope your holiday weekend has been fun! I had a GREAT eating and exercise day yesterday - one of the best I've had in a while. I REALLY hope that's a sign that my body is getting it's crap together to be "normal" again. Today is my official weigh in day. After posting yesterday that the scale hasn't moved much at all in more than a month, I was down 2.4 lbs this week! I REALLY hope that means I'm over that plateau and can keep losing. And it marks another BIG goal - I officially weigh less than my dh!!!!!!!!!!! And in case anyone didn't see my post yesterday, after being annoyed that the scale hadn't moved for a month, I measured and have lost another 5.5" over the last month!! I'm not really sure what my plan is for today. DH is home all day but he'll be processing photos. I need to vacuum and finish up some laundry. Dinner is easy - grilled pork chops, rice and corn. I think we'll just hang out and relax today. Keep up all the hard work girls! It's tedious and super hard at times but the pay off is worth it!!!!!!! I know you can do it!!

brandy327 I am so freaking proud of you! I know you have been waiting on this day! Nothing planned here. I am getting ready to go do my BBM and the I am going for a run. I bought ds a new bike last week. We finally have a no rain day, so I think he is planning on going with me. We don't have anywhere to ride where we live. Have a great day ladies.

Good for you Brandy! I just got back from a week and some long beach vacation. I'm only up 1.2 pounds! That is after a ton of wine and carbs. I did get way more steps in on vacation than I usually do. Our house was a block and a half from the beach and the walk back and forth several times a day had my step count over 10,000 by lunch time!
Today is my last day of vacation and back to work and the grind tomorrow. I am doing some light meal prep now - sweet potato home fries and scrambled eggs for breakfasts and black beans and brown rice for lunch. I bought lots of produce at the farmers market yesterday so the plan is for salads for dinner. It's going to be HOT here this week and ds has football workouts. Light dinners for us and then usually a sandwich for him when gets home. Back to the gym in the am after almost 2 weeks off. Dreading it and looking forward to it at the same time!

No plans here-probably bake some fish for dinner. And off to gym in a little while. I have to step up my cardio and I'm dreading it.

We had most of our celebration yesterday with a group of college friends at Arlington Race trace (horses). They do a huge family day with fireworks at night and racing during the day. You can bring in food, though, so I brought a thermos with some chicken salad & an apple. So that was day 14 on Whole30. I am starting to sleep better and feel better as well. We had a drive home plus it took an hour to get out of the park so I'm feeling a little tired this morning. It would have been way worse with alcohol, lol.
Today Should be a laid back day but that can change. I don't have any plans but The weather is perfect for my walk.

I was really proud with my run and that I didn't walk once. DH came out and was at the finish line which was awesome. It meant a lot that he came out for the race. My BFF ran it also and afterward our first conversation was "when is our next one?". Not sure what we are going to do rest of the day. DS is still asleep and DH just went back to bed. I'm tired but too pumped to sleep.

Way to go Brandy. Enjoy every hard earned victory. My parents are staying with us for two days, so my exercise is off. Tomorrow however will be a very physical day; I'll be helping mom and dad unload the moving van as they get into their new house. They are excited and although it will be a long, hot, tiring day, it will be good to see them settled (and out of my house). We are going to a cookout tonight, but I plan to stick to fruits and some grilled chicken.
