And brought him AND his sister home! And because I know the rules:  We lost our older kitty just before Christmas at over 17 years, and we have been missing him terribly. Our other cat, Fergus, is almost 6 and missing his buddy, too. We felt ready to open our hearts again so have been looking, and our local rescue had a male shorthair they were trying to place. We walked in to meet him, DH took one look at him (and his sister, who immediately greeted us) and was done, lol. They were removed from a hoarding situation so are healthy but very undersized, just 1.5 and 1.2 pounds at 11 weeks. Both are polydactyl cats, so we have 2 teeny kittens with huge front paws! No names yet so suggestions welcome! Lisa B. UPDATE: The kittens have been officially named Waldo (Wally) and Phoebe!  They had their 2nd round of shots this week, both are small for their age but healthy and adorable!  |

So sweet! I hope that Fergus takes to them quickly. Looking forward to when we can get a couple of kittens. I lost my old girl (almost 20) just a month ago and am not quite ready. But we'll definitely get a pair when we do. Kittens are so much fun in multiples!

I've had Oliver for about 18 months and just got him a kitten, Sofie, this past week. She's a mess and very hard to get a picture of, as she wants extreme closeups only. |

What cuties. I know they're so happy to be a part of your family. A friend of my Moms always seems to adopt a pet on a holiday so she always names them to fit that holiday. Her July 4th rescue is Sparkles.

They are adorable. I love cats. I have two but neither are fussy cats or lap cats. I keep thinking about getting another but a third doesn't guarantee it either.

So sweet! I'm sure they will be happy in their new home. My vote for a 4th of July name would be Liberty for the girl. Since you are Red Sox fan, why not give the boy a player's name.

How cool! Thackery and Winnie from Hocus Pocus come to mind... We have an adorable 3 month old black kitten and called him Binx from Hocus Pocus!! LOL!! This is a picture of him with our cat, Sylvester, and his sister. We found a home for the girl and called her Minx while we had her. Sylvester is not their mommy, he is our fixed boy and is so good to Binx Attachments:
