I finally started binge watching the final season of Downton Abbey. Since it came on right when I was started my first term I was scared to get sucked in. Watched the first 4 episodes late last night. Will watch the rest tomorrow probably.
So I have a week till I start my job and till my last summer class starts. I'm guessing it would be a fools errand to attempt to watch just a season or two of Game of Thrones?

I'm in need of something to watch too. I've never seen GoT, just not sure that it interests me all that much.

It's that good. So it's doable. ;-) ETA: there are now six seasons, but I watched season six as it was released each week.

I'm in need of something to watch too. I've never seen GoT, just not sure that it interests me all that much. DH kept after me to watch it for months and I refused because I thought the same thing. Finally I caved, and even the first season was hard for me to get through. Trying to learn all the characters and kingdoms and how they tie in. But I stuck with it and now I am hooked.

I also need to watch the 3rd and 4th seasons of OITNB. And the most recent season of Shameless and season 2 of Outlander! I'm so behind on life. Lol

I extreme binge watched GoT....first 4 seasons. I wouldn't recommend it. I think I'm scarred When I finished I needed therapy, a hug, and a shower When you watch them all at once, it's VERY intense.

I'm envious of you that you will be staring GoT from the beginning...I love the show, and I binged the first 4 seasons in a short amount of time. I now watch it each week as it airs, but binging is SO much better.
I binged this weekend on Catastrophe (Amazon Prime), and Bloodline (Netflix). Catastrophe was SO GREAT, and Bloodline is just okay - it's a bit slow and depressing.

Sad it won't go on...would love a sequel set during WWII. If you need something to watch, check out Thirteen. You can watch it on bbc america's site. I forgot which pea mentioned it but I watched and cannot wait until the next episode. It's a miniseries and only 5 episodes long.

I just finished binge watching Gilmore Girls. Now I'm ashamed to say that I'm watching 90210. It's so bad, but I'm sucked in now.

I started binge watching Friday Night Lights last Friday. I've already cried 5 or 6 times and either this is a really good show or I am very hormonal because I usually don't cry for months and months (really I can go 6 to 10 months or more without crying) at a time.

I think it aired from 2008-2012, it's 5 seasons. It's had some characters from the original series on it, Kelly Taylor is a semi-regular, Brenda Walsh and Donna Martin were on several episodes. They mention others people, but they haven't made appearances. One of the main characters now is the teenage sister of Kelly Taylor and David Silver. It's on Netflix, come on, try it, you'll like it! (said in my best peer pressure, "the first hit's free" voice)
