I do. I prefer to go see the professional fireworks. But, the kids prefer to light them off at home. We generally alternate one year going out and one year staying at home. This was a go out year, but it started raining shortly before we were to leave. So, we had friends over and didn't do any fireworks.

I love firework displays, not the sillly little ones people let off all over the place.
I grew up in the UK, where our fireworks are on Guy Fawkes Day, November 5th. My mum wouldn't let us have any or be around them; she'd buy us a Guy Fawkes gift instead. So when I came to the US and finally got to see a proper display, I was hooked.
We live close to a reservation where there are many firework sales stands and they open up a couple of times a year. People who live closer hear fireworks many, many nights throughout the year. I don't envy that.
I feel that we should make a move to only allowing professional displays. The silent fireworks also intrigue me; I would be willing to forgo the pleasure of the enormous "bang" sounds for the good of those with PTSD and pretty much all animals, both wild and domestic. I'd hate to see firework displays banned completely because I love them so much, and they do bring a huge amount of pleasure to millions, but I'm very much aware of the negative effects.
I didn't get to go last night; my nausea/diarrhea was too bad, and I was actually hooked up to IV fluids (at home) when our local display was occurring. I could hear it. Bummer.

I adore fireworks. I love to see them and get really excited but I don't often go see them. The last 2 years they've been rained out on the 4th here.
I don't even mind firecrackers on the 4th. And I mind almost everything noise related.
Sparklers are just pretty and a nice childhood memory.

I love professionally done shows. I love sparklers and a few DIY kinds of things.
I hate the people who buy huge amounts of loud firecrackers and set them off continuously for hours and hours from July1-whenever they run out. Especially when they're doing it illegally. This year our new next door neighbors did that, and my puppies have been upset for nights on end. A few booms are no big deal. Night after night of hours-long sounds similar to artillery fire just isn't ok.

They are not legal where I live, but we have a few really great professional displays that I just love. I don't enjoy the crowds - we had 250k people in the park near town in 95+ degree heat to watch the big show. No thanks! But we live close enough to enjoy without getting involved in that nonsense.

I love fireworks. Married to a guy who LOVES fireworks. Kids love them!! I ran out of the house like a crazy woman Sunday night to try to get to an area near to a church that was doing them. I don't like the crowds, the traffic, the heat and humidity we have around here to watch the big ones put on by the cities.
I also dislike inconsiderate people who shoot off the large mortars in the neighborhood. At all hours. I have three dogs, our oldest who is terribly disturbed by them. We did Benadryl and the anxiety wrap to no avail last night. I finally let her run and bark outside so the people shooting them on the next street over would hear her barking and stop. At 10:30 pm. I was almost that mean, crazy old neighborhood lady that went out to yell at them to stop but they seemed to stop shortly after hearing Sally barking. I doubt that had anything to do with it, they probably ran out of stuff to light.
Disney fireworks, ahhhhh, there's nothing like them. We were at Epcot on 4th of July one year. I felt very patriotic after doing the Hall of Presidents and walking out in time to see the light show. Wow!

I love the fireworks! They are pretty and they are fun! We found a sweet little park to go to each year to watch the fireworks. Almost nobody knows about it and it's not very crowded. It's great! We ooohed and ahhed over the fireworks at the park on Sat, and last night we set off a ton in the driveway and did sparklers and pop it's with the kids. So much fun!

I was one complaining about the noise the other day.
I actually love a good professional fireworks show. Love the colors and designs. Those are way different that my drunk idiot neighbor and his huge box of fireworks. Professional shows last about 1/2 hour. My neighbors "show" started at 3pm and went until almost midnight. Then started again at 2:30 am and woke everyone on our street. Just random huge booms. Nothing entertaining about that. The douche needed a good punch in the face at that point.

I love them. I really enjoy professional firework shows. I might feel differently if I were listening to them go off at my house for all hours.

I love them! But somehow the special has gone out of them and I get completely overwhelmed by the amount being done.

Fireworks are a big part of the $th of July. If people don't enjoy them, then don't go watch. I enjoy a good fireworks display and always watched.

I love fireworks! There have been years where our neighbor's shooting them off a week before and a week after started to wear on me, but overall I love the holiday. For us it's a great opportunity to hang out with our neighbors. The "big boys" (teenage DS, 27yo son-in-law and 27 yo neighbor) act like little kids and have a heck of a good time. We live in a small town so 'fighting the crowd' for the city fireworks is still only half an hour of waiting to get out of the park afterwards.
Going to sleep last night, I was thinking about how much fun we had over the weekend as the neighbor was serenading us with bottle rockets.
