So proud of him (not much of a baby anymore, all 6ft & 18 years of him!). He's scrimped, saved, worked & fundraised to be able to join a world challenge group from his college on an expedition to their partner school in Kenya. They are hoping to complete a building project for them as well as do some painting & make strong ties with them all. After all that, they're going trekking & on safari, lucky things. So proud of him but boy, am I ever going to miss him!!!

Well done to him for the commitment to saving, fund raising etc.....it's a huge deal! Is this World Challenge specifically? My DDs did 3 trips with WC and they were all fantastic...they got so much out of them and I'm sure your DS will too. Keep busy and time will fly

You must have done a great job of rearing him because he sounds like a great responsible young man! This will be a marvelous experience for him. One he will never regret.
