Wow! I loved him when I was a tween - had a big poster of him in my room.  Sounds like he's living life on his own terms AND doing well by doing good. Awesome. |

I saw this on the news earlier and thought it was funny because the younger reporters had no clue who he was. anniebygaslight a reserve officer is usually a volunteer and won't be involved in any confrontational policing situations. Our police department has an active senior volunteer group that enforces parking violations (don't park in a handicapped spot here without a decal) and will check your house while you are on vacation, etc. It is interesting that Estrada's organization isn't really identified, but he is a spokesperson for Safe Surfin' so I assume that is the organization he is working through with this Idaho community. He has been made a deputy sheriff and reserve officer in other communities in the past. |

I think he has done this before, other than on TV.
I was a CHiPs fan, as well. If it comes on now, I won't watch it, though, and I don't really know why.

Cool! I always loved Ponch. He was my childhood crush. We have the same birthday, so I used to tell my mom that meant we were going to get married one day. She'd just roll her eyes.  |
