Dd1 is 22. This past school year she worked as a speech language pathology assistant at a school district. This summer she is on leadership team at a Christian camp. Next year she is going to New Zealand and an as of yet undecided country with ywam for a mission trip. Hopefully when she gets back she'll have gotten into grad school for her masters in SLP. Dd2 is 19. She has completed her AA and heads off to a state college this fall. She will be studying urban planning and sustainability. She was working at a local retail store while she lived at home completing her degree but recently quit for health concerns. Dd3 is 16- 17 in two weeks! She will be a senior next year. She is captain of the highschool dance team and they practice all year round so she is always busy!! She also works at Panda Express because she just wasn't busy enough. this summer she is studying more caluculus and spending all her free time with her friends who are mostly off to college in the fall. I figure I will see her again in September. She wants to be a civil engineer.

Now if the miltary can keep it staright, we just a call from Tori they are pushing her ship date untill August 8th.....ughhhh. Waiting on the recuriters call, I'm pissed and she's upset. Thank you to your dd for her pending service! DS went into the Coast Guard and one month before he was to leave they decided he should lose 5 lbs! So of course, he was delayed a month. He probably would have lost that the first week of boot camp!

DD (8) just finished fourth year of dance (ballet). Such a beautiful little dancer! She tried soccer for the first time this spring and enjoyed it a lot. Next year, she might try softball. She's in girl scouts. She's also turning into quite a little bookworm.

Mine studies auto mechanics with a business component and he didn't really care for the business part. He is doing advanced engine management right now which is the coolest part of his course. He is looking forward to graduating and then moving home.
He eats, but likes 99% of Japanese food to eat. This poses a slight problem for my dad and I was we eat low carb everything. I just will do more cooking I guess.
He says he is going to Japan in September for a while. Then he said he will look for a job. He wants to see his dad and grandparents which is fun for him. The typhoon season should have ended by then so maybe he will get good weather for his trip.
That's what he does.

Hubby and I were talking, she was our Karma kid. Hubby and I were beyond rebels when we young. I think that's why we were hard, we knew what we didn't get from our parents to redirect us and wanted to make sure we gave the redirection to her. Tough love, it was hard but in the end we hope it ends well. She meets again with the recuriter on Tuesday and sets the date for her AVSAB test. She is looking at an October date, we should know 100% by the beginning of August.

Matthew is 5.5 and he's a stage legend in his own mind. No matter when you ask me what he's doing, the answer is always singing/dancing/performing. He takes forever in the bathroom because he's putting on a show in the mirror. He's larger than life. One time, he asked me if I would ask all of our friends and family to come over to our house and sing "Because We Love Him" (from White Christmas) to him. He's too much.

DS1 (27) works as a case manager for a mental health facility; newly married, giving me a 5y/o grandson
DS2 (25) is also a newlywed, and is the assistant registrar at the university he graduated from. He completes his masters degree program in December, and is slated to be promoted next spring to the registrar position. They love him at this university and we wouldn't be surprised if he isn't running the place one day. Yes, I'm shamefully bragging.
They live four hours away and I miss them so much!

DS is 4 and he has one year of preschool under his belt. Something happened to him in Utero or at birth and he has some right side weakness and it affected his speech. So we do a lot of therapies, 4x a week. But he is seriously the sweetest thing and such a Mommy's boy! He has a very vivid imagination and looooooves to pretend. He likes to figure out how things work, loves any toy with wheels, and currently has an imaginary dog named Riley

My oldest is trying to find his way. He is 20 and doesn't want to go to college, work at a job that is difficult or time consuming and spends most of his time trying "to be discovered on youtube".
My youngest is 16. He is spending his Summer working at the Parks & Rec Summer Camp. He will be entering the 10th grade when school starts. During school he is very involved in Navy Jr ROTC and is on their air rifle team. He wants to get another job once Summer Camp is over but we need to see how difficult school is this year.

DD has been working part- time at the public library and just got hired on full-time. She will graduate with her BA in December. Once she's worked at the library full-time for a year they will pay for her to get her master's degree so she can become a librarian.
DS works part-time at a bakery/cafe and goes to school at the community college. He should graduate with his Associates degree this fall.
my littlest (Boomer dog) - chases squirrels, sleeps on his pillow, and is content to let his mommy spoil him.

DD#1 is 23, just got married 2 weeks ago and is living here with us until she moves with her dh across the country in the fall. She graduated from college in May and is working for a restaurant and looking for a PT job, too. Her dh is in the military.
DD#2 is 20, also graduated from college in May and is looking for her first FT job in the legal field. She's been working since she was 14, so she's definitely a hard worker. She's been dating the same guy for 5 years. Thankfully, he's a hard worker, too! He's 23 and in school to be a HS history teacher, plus works as a school tour guide at a local historical settlement and also works at a restaurant.

DS-24 is a salesman at an auto dealership. He and his girlfriend are getting very serious and we like her very much.
DS-23 is an ET5 in the Navy. We got his first deployment behind us recently - yay. I'll be attending his re-enlistment ceremony later this month. He loves it and will probably make it a career.
DS-21 is also Navy, not long out of A-School, and currently an ET2. He and his brother are now on ships stationed close enough nearby to be able to spend a good bit of time with each other.
DS-14 is a rising high school sophomore and plays on the soccer team.

DD-10 plays rec league volleyball and has played piano for 3 years. She is in Lego club at school and loves to read, play Minecraft and do anything artistic.
DS-8 plays piano also and dances--hip hop and tap are his favorites right now. He loves Lego and Minecraft and has just discovered Encyclopedia Brown and Choose Your Own Adventure books at the library, so he's devouring those!
DD-6 dances and plays soccer. She also loves to "do art with Mommy" and is obsessed with watching hair videos on YT--and she nags us every day to have her own YouTube channel for doing hair! She is on the verge of bing able to read chapter books and it's killing her because she wants to be able to do anything her older brother and sister do!

I have:
Etienne..8 year old God-son. He is super smart, makes awesome silly faces, loves the Pgh Steelers and wants to be either a "house maker" (architect ) or the Hulk (yes the green comic guy) when he grows up
Emelie...6 year old God-daughter. She is wicked funny, tells the best jokes ever, loves the colour pink, loves to bake with me and wants to be a doctor when she grows up...not because I'm a doctor and I'm inspiring. No. It's because her pediatrician gives out lollipops and she thinks it's the awesomest thing to have a job that involves giving people lollipops. LOL
Mike...step-son. He's an Army Ranger. Married with no children. He will be career Army. We're so very proud of him. And so very thankful to have him back stateside after serving in Iraq.
Hailey...step-daughter. She's recently honourably discharged from the Air Force. She's engaged with one son. She owns a Subway franchise in Florida. They're planning on getting married in November and having more children.
ETA: Have no idea what's going on with my spacing/text. Sorry :-(

DD is 18. She's in her first year of an Applied Science / Physiotherapy degree at Uni. She works part time for my SIL in her Optical shop. She's also just got a second job at a burger place and starts next week. She plays basketball and is enjoying her freedom and independence now that she is an adult.... driving, going to nightclubs, and of course spending every waking moment with her phone in her hand.
DS is 11yo. He's in Year 6 and starts high school next year. (Here high school is Year 7 - Year 12.) He loves sports and plays football, cricket, and basketball. On Friday he was hanging out with a young guy who has a baseball scholarship at the University of Hawaii, who he thinks it pretty cool, so I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to start playing that next (although baseball isn't big in this country).

DS is 13 and will be starting 8th grade in the fall. He's been a straight A student for the last year and a half and is very focusing on keeping those straight As. He's on the Autism Spectrum and struggles with reading and comprehension so this is a big task for him. He loves Legos, video games, basketball, swimming, annoying his sisters, movies, watching soccer.
DD#1 is 11.5 and will be starting 6th grade in the fall. She's a fantastic student, is obsessed with soccer, is very sporty, speaks before she thinks most times (and it gets her into trouble), tender hearted, nurturing, funny.
DD#2 is 11.5 and will be starting 6th grade in the fall as well. She's also a great student, obsessed with soccer, is sporty at times but is DEFINITELY more girly than her sister, is more quiet and reserved, is a natural worrywart, funny.
