I remember there was a thread on salux towels from Japan and peas loving it. I have to say I bought both and the Korean Italy towel is amazing, it's a small square mitt that you use after you soak or shower for 20 -30 min. I got 4-for $2.19 at my local Korean grocery store. I'm amazed, I was able to slough off so much dead skin that I feel like I have baby skin. It was like how you brush every day but your teeth feel squeaky clean and smooth after going to the dentist for a cleaning. I highly recommend it, I bought a salux for my back but it was much easier to see results and clean the Korean Italy towel. I think some are actually made in Korea but mine was made in China. I thought I'd share with the refupeas.

Cool! I'm still using my Japanese salux but this sounds great AND I have a Korean grocery very close by. Thanks for the recommendation!

Can you post a picture? I'll be heading to a Daiso in a few weeks when I visit my mom...I'll see if they have it or something similar.

Here's a video of someone explaining how it works and she shows the towel m.youtube.com/watch?v=BiBn6BFbyVcdaiso primarily has Japanese stuff but you might find a salux towel there, it's nice and large but I thought the little pocket of the Italy towel was easier to use. I paid $3.49 for one salux, which size wise was probably cheaper, you might be able to see your own squares if you get a salux, and you have a swing sewing machine, however it felt a bit rougher to the touch.

I've been scrubbing myself with them for years, it's awesome! In Korea you can also pay to be scrubbed and those ladies get literally every bit of skin off of literally everywhere (it's not for the shy, lol). Soak in the tub with the hottest water you can stand and then scrub, it's wonderful. My elbows are as smooth as a baby's bum!

But man... you leave there smooth. Last time I went, the woman shamed me by showing me all the gross skin she sloughed off. It was very motivating so I bought the mitt at the counter. I've lived on both US coasts and there are Korean bath houses. If you google Korean Spa they will come up.

The Korean thing is like a little mitten isn't it? I have a few of them. They last a long time and your skin is so silky soft. They are really good! I have one in the shower all the time!

This is very interesting, and I have also been enabled to purchase some from Amazon! Thank you! Is it like a microfiber cloth? It's not like microfiber, it's sort of a rough cloth that shrinks when it gets wet and you have too stretch it to put it on your hand. I think it's called viscoise or something like that.

The peas strike again. I just added this into my cart I liked the other cloths but want something smaller. I may check our Asian grocery before I actually buy them.
