I found the descriptions on how Prime Day works. I installed the app but it doesn't say anything. Does anyone how you can set alerts for specific items or categories?

This was posted today. linkThanks...hoping to order an attachment to my Kitchen Aid.... It is kind of vague, but I think I'm going to get a Kindle for my daughter for Christmas. It might go lower on Black Friday, but I'm fine with the $33.00 price.

I just ordered the bissel carpet cleaner for $284. The cheapest I've found online for this model was $377 at walmart. I think I scored a good deal.

I just got an email for 30 dollars off an order of 150 on Prime day using my Prime Visa card. That's a good deal.

I'm looking for a good portable photo scanner and I'm hoping there will be a good deal on Prime Day. I have thousands of photos to scan and I really want the scans to be of a high quality. The process has to be fairly quick and easy or I'll never get it done. Anyone have a scanner they love? What size photos do you plan to scan? If they are 4"x6", you might want to consider the Woverine Snap20. It is a photo/negative to digital convertor. I recently bought the version for just negatives. This can be used with the computer or stand alone with an SD card. if you are wanting a desktop size so you can do larger pictures, then look at the Epson Perfection line. I have one and it does a great job. Save

I'm trying to figure out how this might all work. I'm intrigued by the idea of using Alexa to order, but at the same time, I don't like it in that I want to be sure that it's ordering the exact item that I want, at the exact price point that I've already seen on the computer.
I wonder if it will let you just order the items you've placed in your cart.
I did notice that the following items aren't eligible for voice purchasing:
*apparel *shoes *jewelry *watches *Amazon Fresh *Prime Pantry *Prime Now *Add-on items

I'll be checking in for any "must have" deals. This morning I ordered a Jackery back up/portable battery for $12.50, regularly like $50, so some deals have already started. Last year I picked up a couple of those and gave them to the teens for Christmas. We also got a really nice baby gate aka dog gate

When I went into the app and clicked on lightning deals, I could see upcoming deals that start at 3:00 am EST and show as prime exclusive. So I am assuming those are the prime day items since they go live every 5 minutes and there are so many (even when filtered by category).

Instant Pot. Those ladies on the Insta pot thread have me convinced we need one now! Rumor has it that there will be at least one model on sale!

So is it not going to start until all of the US is officially 7/12? Because my eastern butt is getting impatient... I hope to get a portable AC for cheap. Also a cheap vacuum for my wife's aunt. Doesn't need to be anything special. Just for a small studio apartment. Anybody considering a fire stick, FYI: I LOVE mine!

I've been holding out on the instant pot because I have a perfectly usable pressure cooker. But at this price I went for it. I like the stainless inner pot, the steamer (I have to use an ill-fitting silicone one with my fagor), and the thing that holds the lid on the side. I could use a 2nd slow cooker anyway (actually a 3rd but I never use my rice cooker, which can slow cook, for anything but white rice).

I just cleaned up on pampers diapers. 35% off, plus 20% subscribe and save (I always cancel after I get them), plus a $4 coupon. Which brings 200 diapers to $16. I bought 5 cases.

I've been planning on buying it, even at regular price, but glad that I decided to wait until Prime Day. That price is insanely good.

Thank you thank you thank you!! I had ordered an extra pot and two cookbooks the other day because the extra pot was a great deal. Now it won't seem as weird when those items show up today and I have no Instapot. It will be here Thursday and I have a pork butt waiting for it. @meeko 77
