I was really hoping to see one of the Nest programmable thermostats. Doesn't look like it's on the list...drats!

Interestingly, I've noticed that when I tried to order a Fire tablet using Alexa, the price quoted was more than what's being offered in the site, even with the $10 off for ordering using Alexa. What a rip-off. That's a bummer! I bet Amazon's getting lots of complaints about the price discrepancy, since that's a popular item. Maybe check back later to see if it gets fixed? I ordered the Instant Pot using Alexa and it was the right price, and took an additional $10 off. Alexa even informed me that there would be tax to my shipping address and gave me the final total.

Saw something I would like and then noticed that despite the fact that it is prime eligible it won't even ship for a Nother five days. No thank you! While I totally get the frustration of that, if it is a good enough deal, I will wait my 5 days. The problem is I'm traveling Thursday and wanted it to travel with. By the time it arrives, I won't even be home to get it..

I picked up an Instant Pot. I've been watching that thread for weeks and am really interested. I added it on my Amazon wish list a while back, figuring it'd be a good Christmas/Birthday idea. I couldn't pass up this price. It'll be a couple weeks before I even get to use the thing due to an upcoming trip. I'll just keep reading the thread and make a list of stuff to make.
I also got a set of the Bose headphones for DH's birthday, which happens during our trip. I have been looking for small things that would fit easily in my suitcase. These are perfect. I wanted the over-the-ear ones, but they don't have the Samsung/Android ones for the same sale prices as the Apple ones. pppplllllbbbtttt (that's a raspberry sound)

Instapot question... I saw someone ask whether it was big enough for 5 people. What about making small amounts of rice or small dishes? I have HD crockpots that were too big. Would this one work for servings for two people?

If you're a twitter user, @mattgranite has a constantly updated twitter feed of the best prime deals. He's a fabulous source for deals all year round as well.

The Pampers deal is great if you have a baby shower coming up or want to donate to a women's shelter.

Would this one work for servings for two people? Yes! The great thing about pressure cookers is that you can cook small amounts as well as large amounts. It is different than a slow cooker in that way.

Last year I picked up a couple of those and gave them to the teens for Christmas. Ha! Thanks. I just ordered four Jackerys for my boys. You are very welcome They seemed to go over well at Christmas time and it's so hard to pick for the teens/young adults!

Does anyone have the Kindle fire HD10? How do you like it ? Trying to compare it to the fire HD7, which is what I have right now.
Debating whether I want a new tablet or new point and shoot camera that I've been wanting as well.

Alexa would not sell me my InstaPot for the sale price so I bought it at $109 and chatted with Amazon. They lowered the price to $59.99.

ALEXA had raised the prices on things or she isn't privy to lightning deals.

I had been pondering Dash buttons for a while, and I finally got a handful at .99 each, plus the $4.99 credit, so I'm happy about that! And I had been wanting to try a My Pillow, and got that too.

Alexa kept giving me a final price of $118 for the Insta Pot so I kept cancelling the order. Then I went online and tried ordering it and it showed the $10 Alexa discount when I was checking out. Score!

So far the only thing I've found that I'm interested in is a large set of embroidery threads. It doesn't start until 7 pm though. Not sure I'll get it, just depends on the price.
