I figured with yesterday being Prime Day, it'd be a good day to show off your bargains. I admit, I was pretty lame. The only thing I got was some metallic Sharpies. Yesterday was busy and I didn't get on-line much. DH did get one of the cheapy Kindles. He had seen mine and decided to take the plunge. Saturday, I did go to the mall to the Hallmark Ornament Premiere. Then found a pair of sandals at Payless, and some clearance jewelry (earrings and necklaces) at Dillard's. What have you bought recently?

The LAST thing I bought on Prime Day was the cheap kindle. To go with the Echo I bought just before.
This morning? Scrambled eggs and oatmeal at McDonalds. I am a teacher on my way to a conference.

I went to an art show this past weekend. I bought a necklace and earrings for a gift, and a bracelet for myself.
Nothing from Amazon, though.

An iced mocha from Starbucks...
But yesterday it was the Instapot and Doom game. I didn't get a chance to look later for deals, so I may have missed out on some other stuff.

I bought the insta pot and also a kindle yesterday. I'm tired of handing over my iPad to my grandkids to play with so I figured the kindle would be a good idea

I bought a new computer yesterday. For my birthday. My old laptop is about 3.5 years old and it was totally slowing down. I've been holding off on buying some software because I've been considering getting a new computer. I finally bit the bullet last night and bought one.

I bought an antique china hutch in an online auction last night. I was so excited that I won! I had seen on the news that an old house in a small town near us was going to be auctioning off the contents. I have been looking for an antique hutch for a couple of years and hadn't found one I really liked. I was bored the other night so I checked out the auction items and saw this one and loved it. So I started bidding. The auction ended last night. It got a little hectic in the last minutes, but I won and got a great price on it still!! Can't wait to pick it up!!

I bought way too much! On Amazon: Kindle Jackery Olala flash for iPhone Microdermabrasion exfoliator Instant Pot
Plus I went to Marshall's, TJ Max, Marshalls, Tuesday Morning, and Target to get some home goods: towels, pillows, and a few other odds and ends.
Most of the Amazon items will be gifts except the last two. 😀

My last prime day order was for electric tooth brush heads, expo markers, and a hammock chair for DD. Just before that, I went and ordered (but haven't technically paid for yet) a $700 pair of bifocals (and that's AFTER a discount)! Not very much fun to be sure, but 5 years overdue and necessary, and the place has absolutely top quality product and service. I know I could get them cheaper elsewhere, but it's very worth it.

Nothing from Amazon. Last place I went yesterday was Costco so I got super fun things like toilet paper and packing tape! I am ordering some backpacks from pottery barn teen today.

It's a small 14" 2 in 1. I liked the small size and the touchscreen. The only thing I don't like about it is that it does not have a DVD burner so I'm going to buy one separately. Thanks for the happy birthday!

Nothing on Amazon yesterday.
I think the last thing I bought was a curtain rod from Bed, Bath & Beyond online. The only store in my city has been out of the length I need for what seems like forever, so I finally gave up and ordered it online. Luckily I got an email for 20% off online, plus there was free shipping & handling over $29, so even with tax, the price was the same as buying in the store. I'm happy with that!

Mine also does not have the number pad either. But I am almost done with school now and I honestly haven't scrapbooker in quite a while so I am not using the computer for many things these days.
