I have never cleaned all day. Do people do this? I think the longest I have cleaned is maybe 2 hours. I have purged for longer than that, but no moving around much. If I am doing physical labor like painting- I don't shower. Well I say "all day" but as you can see I am on here right now.. heehee.. but I am taking my lunch break. I have the TV upstairs while doing my bedroom and yeah I get distracted by those dang Property Brothers... so what could take me probably 4 hours.. is all day...

I have to shower first thing every morning no matter what I have planned for the day. If I don't I just feel gross. If I get too sweaty cleaning I just take another one.

I'm another one who can't start the day without a shower -- even if I know I'm going to get dirty. I have noticed that if I procrastinate taking my AM shower, I am not very productive.

No, waste of time. Plus I like to wipe down the shower while I'm using it, so much easier to take a magic eraser to the shower doors and walls and rinse and not worry about getting wet because I'm already wet. So I do that last.

No. I shower after I clean to get all the gunk off of me. No point in showering beforehand!

Nope. I wait until I am all done and then take a very nice long shower.

No. I shower when I'm done - I'm usually sweaty and stinky by then.

I shower after. since I'm used to showering first thing in the morning, I get the cleaning done first and then shower. if I clean after I shower, I will shower again. that's just me.

First off, I try really hard NOT to clean all day. It reminds me of the seemingly endless horrible Saturdays cleaning the house and doing laundry when I was young, and that sucked. Now that I'm in charge of what happens when I never want to spend a whole day cleaning unless we're getting ready for a party or something. I typically will do a little bit every day just so I don't have to lose an entire day to housekeeping.
However (1), if I know I'll be doing some particularly gross chores on a given day or know I'll be getting all sweaty and hot, then no, I won't shower first because that would be pointless.
However (2), if I have to do some other errands first where people will see me, then yes, I will shower first because I don't like going out and about looking all greasy and gross.

I have RA and need a shower in the morning to get the joints moving. I don't spend the entire day cleaning-a little bit gets done every day. Now if we are doing some really dirty yardwork, I'll hold off on the shower until we are done.

If I know I'm going to do anything that is likely to get me very dirty, sweaty, etc., and I'm not going anywhere before doing that, then yes, I wait and shower later. I try to avoid taking multiple showers a day most of the year, to conserve energy & water. In the summer I often shower more than once, though. BUT, I also shut the water off when I am not using it since it's not the dead of winter and I won't freeze without the water hitting me. So I hope that I'm using half as much water so if I take 2 showers it's still the same amount of water.

Most times no. Especially if I'm cleaning the bathroom. But I tend to clean a little area here and there, so I'm not cleaning the entire house at once. Lots of time I clean the shower while I'm in it.

Nope. I wait until I am all done and then take a very nice long shower. Yeah this. I would just feel like I had to shower again after I was done.
