I received it and activated it just fine but when I realized I never got a bill so today I set up my account online it said my account was late but no where could I see my bill. So annoyed. I called and after a lengthy wait which they kept telling me to go to the online site I got through and they are resending me my bill and removing the fee but still annoyed. I already miss Amex. The amount of time on the phone was beyond annoying and then the fact that you can only see the things on your account since your last bill and when I tried to pull up a past bill it said it was unavailable - Amex was wonderful and I don't get why they are so screwy. At this rate I will be cancelling them and just using my other Visa if they don't get their act together. The perks sound good but not if they are so hard to work with. I can't even just pay the bill since I don't have the address to send it to - I have to wait for the bill to come in the mail. Once I have the bill I will set it up with my bank but until then I just have to wait for the paper bill in the mail - they are really out of date with technology. Just wondering if anyone else has had issues with Citibank and their new Costco card. First our area lost their cable service and lost Fios to Frontier and now this. I know first world problems

I got my bill but not my card I'm really happy with the switch, regardless, because now I can use my regular VISA there and get good rewards. I never used the AMEX for anything beyond Costco, and the rewards didn't amount to much for me - a little bit more than paying for the membership. Once my membership is up for renewal, I'm going to go back to the regular membership and drop Executive.

I got my card and my bill. I can't see previous statements though - I assume that is lost in the transfer.

I got my card and my bill. I can't see previous statements though - I assume that is lost in the transfer. I don't mind not being able to see stuff from Amex but I couldn't even see stuff from before July 8th stuff that I was getting billed for on my current bill that isn't even due yet This was from the second bill from them - not impressed at all. On Amex or Discover I could see previous bills and my current bill. Amex no longer lets us see the old bills since I no longer have a card with them but hubby can see it on his phone on the app LOL. We love Costco but I do find myself spending less there than in past years.

I've had Citibank MC since 1989 and never had issues, even when switching card numbers over the years. I always had access to both sets of information. Now going from AmEx to Visa will lose those prior statements, but any transactions from the current card should be viewable on the Citibank system.
One thing I will ask is if there is a pull down button next to the date of your current transactions? Because that is where I go to get to prior statements vs current transactions.
Also you can pay the balance (if you think it is correct) directly from the Citibank site... I do that on a bi-weekly basis.

Thank you I didn't notice that of course now I can see the interest to and am even more pissed. Now I have to call back and get that removed as well. Just send me the bill on time and I will pay it off each month same as I have always done.

my only "problem" is that we constantly get texts about how much we have earned so far in bonus points or dollars.

I didn't have any problem with the switchover, other than the new Citi account isn't showing up in my Citi app. I pay the bills online and don't get paper bills. Like @luvspaper, I've had a Citi MC for many years, but that's the only account showing up in the app. I guess I'll have to call them to figure out how to get the new Costco Visa to show up there, too. Right now I'm going to the app to pay the MC bill, and the web site to pay the Visa bill. They're due at different times of the month and I don't pay them at the same time ... it's just a really minor annoyance.

For us the switch was seamless, we haven't had any issues at all. We got the new cards well in advance, and I set up the online thing for Citi right away. We had the Amex on autopay and had email alerts set up, so when we knew it was coming up we just made sure to go online and pay the bill before it was due since the switch happened only a couple days before the bill would normally be paid. I'm really happy with it because so many more places accept Visa.
