The only unpainted room in our whole house is the master bedroom. It's sad! I'm pushing for us to finally paint it. Our bedding is a deep, chocolate brown and we don't have the budget for new bedding. What color would you paint the walls? We originally thought a pale blue or periwinkle. Just wanted some fresh ideas I may not have thought of.

I love periwinkle and chocolate combos!
If you want neutrals there are some warm greys that work. Then you could pop an accessory color, like blue, sage or persimmon.
Our bedroom needs painting too.

I love blue and brown combos as well! Maybe you can find a couple of inexpensive decorative pillows for the bed someplace like Tuesday Morning and base your blue off of that, rather than the other way around. It might be easier to match that way, and it will help bring the colors together.

We recently renovated our entire house. The contractor recommended Cool Platinum walls, with white trim. I had my doubts, but we went with his recommendation. The Cool Platinum looks amazing with every other color (furniture, rugs, bedding, etc.). It's neutral, but has just enough color that it isn't boring (IMO), which is how I view most neutrals.

Our bedding is brown/red/tan, and walls match the tan.

We need to get some more and start there.

My bedroom walls are a dark forest green color. My bedding is brown as well. I like the cave feel I like color vs neutrals so I always recommend finding a color you love and going with it.

My first thought was blue too. I'd look for a really pale blue with warm undertones.

My recommendation is a versatile color, such as a griege, so you won't have to repaint should you change the bedding/decor in the near future. HTH & best wishes choosing the perfect color!

I always go for very neutral wall colours - currently I'm repainting in a warm white. That way you can change furnishings, covers etc and don't need to repaint.

We recently painted our bedroom Ben Moore's Palladian blue. I'm loving it. I think it would be lovely with brown.

My best friends bedroom is painted with walmarts Bermuda Bay. It's medium tone, not quite blue, not quite green. Looks perfect with brown curtains and bedding. It's very easy to match accessories with that shade now. Tons of stuff at Hobby Lobby that coordinates well.
