I've had a cusinart smart toaster oven for about 6 years. It cost me about $180 CAD when I bought it and it is fantastic. I love everything about it and it still works perfectly - but the front glass has turned yellow and I don't like how it looks on my kitchen counter.
Can't decide if I should replace it with the same (still the same cost) or move up to a breville that does most of the same functions, gets better reviews for a couple of functions (like the tray that automatically comes out - while I use my knife to pull mine out right now, but that has never bothered me), but is a bit pricier.
I use our toaster oven a few times a day at least so I need a workhorse that I can trust will last 6-7 years.
Any other options? Any opinions? Thanks, Paige.

I have an under the counter Black and Decker that is probably 15 years old. It still works great and doesn't look crappy. When I clean it it looks brand new. I too use it at least once a day. I don't think they make them any more and I am dreading the day this one quits and I have to buy another one.

I have the small Breville. It's the best toaster oven that I've ever had!

I have the small Breville. It's the best toaster oven that I've ever had! I agree with this. When my son moved out it was the only thing he asked me if he could take. I let him and bought another for myself. I love it!

I have a Breville and I love it. At first, I balked at spending $250 on a toaster oven but that thing is a workhorse and worth every penny.

I have a Blacker-n-Decker toaster oven that I love. It will be replaced immediately when it goes. I can cook a 12" frozen pizza in it so it's not small. I love broiling my steaks in it.

I have the small Breville. It's the best toaster oven that I've ever had! Ditto. While I originally balked at the price, now I wouldn't have anything else. It is infinitely superior to any other toaster oven I've ever had, and there have been many!

Have had the $250 U.S. Breville toaster/convection oven for a few years. Love that thing! It fits a 12" pizza, roasts a tri-tip and I can bake a small batch of cookies (from my homemade cookie dough) without turning on the large oven. Ditto baked potatoes and anything that needs quick reheating/crisping, or cooking from frozen. I will buy them for our kids when they get permanent places of their own, and have suggested it for bridal registries for some time now. Great appliance!

I have a Hamilton Beach toaster/convection/rotisserie oven model 31104 and love it. It has 2 racks so you can cook 2 pizzas, 2 cake layers, etc. It's just my husband and I most of the time now and I use it every day.

I have a Breville as well and like it a lot, but it's starting to get glitchy (function buttons and dials don't always work). I did purchase an extended warranty and just need to find the time send it in for repairs.

Paige, I got a DeLonghi retro style one at the Bay when they had HBC catalogues for rewards. Ours is amazing. It toasts, broils, defrosts and convection cooks. We just use it to broil or toast or bake. My son likes to bake his egg rolls in it a lot. I don't know how much it would have been as we got it for free but it was about $150 in the store or so and that is what I would expect to pay for something similar. I love it. We had another DeLonghi before that, too, but had to use up the points so I ordered one of these with the new kitchen we installed. It is about 10 years old and still going strong!
