Quick question....
Yes or No....Can you smell the gas in your home when it is running?

No. Not at all. If you run it a lot though, you'll need a dehumidifier as it's creating water and things will mold. I've been running ventless for about 6 years now and we really like it. Ours is a propane ventless, they make natural gas too.

Thank you.
I could not tell if I was smelling it due to the large concentration of fireplaces in the showroom or not.

No, we don't smell anything. Ours are natural gas.
When we moved into this house, there was a double sided vent-free gas fireplace in the center of the basement that divides the basement into two sections. It was one of the features we loved the most about this house.
The family room on the main floor had a wood burning fireplace, but two years ago we bought vent free gas logs with a remote starter. Love that even more!
