Mine has a tiny hole and when I squeeze it it acts like it's going to explode. So I'm afraid to use mine.

What a mess! Thanks for the warning. I'll be sure to test mine on a separate piece of paper from now on.

myboysnme what a mess! I went with friends to a weekend retreat once. It was really for lampworkers but BFF convinced her mom and me to bring scrapping stuff and do that. So we were sitting at the kitchen table of this place and she had some 3M scrapping glue that she couldn't seem to get going. She tried poking out the nozzle, snipping it bigger, taking the top off but nothing was working. She squeezed the bottle really hard and the whole top shot off, splattering glue all over the table, her project, my project, the wall, the curtains, the chair next to me, me, and even the floor behind me! The projectile nozzle missed my head by only about 10" or so. She was completely surprised and SO apologetic, I couldn't help but laugh because the shocked look on her face was hysterical. Brings a whole new meaning to "It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye!"

I thought the idea was to make them on a nonstick Matt and then move them to the layout once they were dry? It looks like that is going to be my method. Thanks for the advanced warning. Sorry for your mishap

Like cmpeter I have had this happen with glue. Have dropped an ink pad on carpet: of course it fell ink side down. Have gone to put a light spritz on a page after everything is in place and had splatters instead of mist and in places I didn't want it. I test my drops before doing anything on a project--something I learned the hard way to do after blobs of Liquid Pearls caused me problems years ago. If the nozzle seems a little clogged, I use a piece of wire to clear it out. I keep one on my scrap counter to clear glue nozzles as well. Glad you rescued your pic's, @mybosnme . Hate when stuff like that happens. If it was a manufacturers' error, hopefully they will replace the bottle.

Gosh I didn't even have to snip the tops... just used them straight away. I'm sorry you had such a problem with them. I never snipped the top. Mine were usable immediately. I find that if I have a clog (like Stickles), I unfold a paperclip, and unclog the nozzle with that.

RIP the walls of our apartment guest room, I scrubbed it forever but I think they had to repaint after we moved. It was EVERYWHERE.

I am adding a paper clip to my supply kit. That is a great idea!

I am adding a paper clip to my supply kit. That is a great idea! I first learned about it on the old peas, to use with Stickles. I have a dedicated partially-unfolded paper clip, tied with a ribbon at the end for ease of finding in my bowl of Stickles.

I usually use my piercer tool or a straight pin to unclog mine.

I have not had to cut mine either and I love them. I'm addicted. I just ordered a whole bunch more colors. They work great, I just apply directly on my layout

I bought the entire set and had three that would not work. I snipped the end again and again, poked them with a piercer and they still don't work. The ones that do work, I love though!

I bought many bottles and had buyer's remorse not long after. I ended up selling them in a resale group. I got them for a really low price (not quite half off, but close before shipping) so I was able to up the price enough with shipping to make my money back (plus 67 cents or something, lol) and still have them under retail pricing. They sold about 8 hours after I listed them, thank goodness. I decided I didn't want them when I learned they dried pliable and weren't hard like enamel dots. That, to me, is the number one comparison between them before finish and I feel as though Tonic completely misled the scrapbooking community when they compared them to enamel dots because they aren't. Looking like an enamel dot does not make them like an enamel dot if they dry like stickles or puffy paints. Those are much more accurate comparisons.
I'm glad the person I sold them to is looking forward to them, but I'm also glad I wasn't stuck holding onto them because I felt deceived as a customer.

I was trying to use them to write words and outline things but make it raised like enamel. It is more like the pliable material of the queen and company epoxy type things.
I messaged Tonic about them and heard a big fat nothing from them.

One review I watched showed ghosts she made that cracked after drying. Really disappointing. Good thing with all the actual dots I have, I won't be running out in the next couple of years. Even the enamel accents from Ranger won't dry hard. I asked after they announced them so as to not get my hopes up.
