My Dh will be taking a test in the Raleigh NC area. My 10 year old and I will travel with him. Any good spots to visit while there? Thanks.

So many great things to do! Museum of natural sciences is wonderful. My kids love it. Do the extra exhibit it's about jamestown, it's interactive and interesting for kids and adults. Bond park in Cary is fun, you can rent paddle boats catch a Durham Bulls game if they are playing, go swimming at a lake, Jordan Lake is our favorite. When will you be here? It's hot and humid so some of the outdoor stuff might not be fun right now. PM me if you have any questions. I'm not much of a foodie but that seems to be popular here people generally give restaurant ideas whend you ask what there is to do. I don't think of eating as a "thing" to do.

Pullen park in Raleigh - you can ride the carousel, ride a small train and rent paddle boats there. Go see the Durham Bulls even if you aren't into baseball! So much fun! North Hills in Raleigh is a nice place to walk around, shop, bowl and eat. (Try cowfish if you go there-yum!!)

Goodberry's Frozen Custard! It's been years and years and years since I was in Raleigh (back in college!) so I don't know where it is, I just remember it being delicious!

Natural Science museum is awesome. AWESOME! I just went there two days ago and was surprised at how much had changed in the past year. The same day we also tried a new (to us) chocolate shop. Pricey, tiny but so good! Escazu is its name.
