Such sad news. From everything I've read, he was a truly decent and kind man who was loved by everyone who worked for and with him.

I can't believe he was only 81. I thought for sure he was in his 90s since he seemed old back in the Laerne and Shirley days. How sad. I always enjoyed watching him act. So funny, so natural.

He often did the late night talk shows and was always so "roughly charming."

I didn't realize his age was 81. For some reason I was thinking late 60's. How sad.

he sure kept my generation entertained
i think it was tuesday nights
happy days then laverne and shirley - three's company after that (he didn't produce that i don't think)
i could only watch three's company occasionally - it was passed my bedtime and it was a bit racy

This made me sad when I saw it this morning also. So many great and funny shows - a real talent that will be missed.
Heaven got a bit funnier today.

Such a great legacy including a couple of my favorite movies, Overboard & Beaches, and of course, Mork & Mindy.
