One month after I turned 19. We will celebrate 49 years of marriage in a few weeks. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I was 26 and he was 28. Any sooner would have been hard financially, but we probably could have gotten married a year earlier and been fine by making a few sacrifices (that we would never remember now anyway!).

I was 26, DH was 30. In retrospect, that seems so young, mostly because I was 23 when we started dating. I thought I was an adult, but... that is super young! But it's worked out and our 17th anniversary is in September.

Three weeks shy of 22, he was almost 25. And it was 23 years ago. I would do it again in a heartbeat. We still had people tell us we were too young and these were people who married younger than we were. I had people taking bets about how soon we would get divorced; my high school speech & drama coach wore all black to the wedding and refused to take any of the groom's cake -- *pointedly*. Other people were saying things like, "I predict a Christmas baby" -- at my *April* wedding, implying that I must already be pregnant. It was a hoot. Still married all these years later. First baby born 9 months and 11 days after the wedding, though, so *that* was a squeaker!

Which time - I have been married 3 times <gasp>
#1 - 19 too young and too stupid which is why I didn't last
#2 - 28 should have lasted but he was stupid
#3 - 38 and will never marry again....NEVER not because marriage is a bad thing but I have had my fair share of it.

I was 20, he was 23. I have a couple kids older than we were and imo are still too young to get married!
We are still married, but I wish i'd been older when I made the decision to marry. I don't think I had enough life experience at 20 to see a few red flags. I think being more mature would have made a difference, even in the patterns that we established.

DH and I got married when we were 22 and we will celebrate our 24 year anniversary in a couple of weeks. We thought we were very mature, but looking back and having an almost 20 year old son I realize how immature we must have been. I can't imagine my kids getting married at 22 and realize how our parents must have felt. We are more in love now than ever so it works and I definitely wouldn't change a thing!!

I was 20, he was 23. Mind you I was 20-going-on-45, I've always had an old head on young shoulders apparently...I've almost grown into it 22 happy years later. I do tell people we're the exception that proves the rule & that I wouldn't recommend it for others although it was perfect for us.

First time, a month shy of my 21st birthday. It was a 3 year marriage. In hindsight that was just stupid. I married a good man, but we were just too young. Second time I was 28. That one stuck for 23 years.

You have always been a part of the heist. You're only mad now because you don't like your cut.

I was 19 and DH was 23.
DH had finished college and had a job. I finished college a few months later. We had a house and didn't struggle very much because we received lots of support from family,

I was 29 and 11 months...got it in just under the wire! ;-D DH was 32. Second marriage for him, first for me
Been married 16 years.
I married very late for our religious culture (LDS), but, I did a lot in those years after high-school and before I got married. I had a blast! My only regret is that had I married just a few years younger I could have had more kids. I have three, I think I would have liked 5.

I was 27 and he was 33. still together after 34 yrs. looking at retirement now and how to survive that change. he was hurt in a major accident 15 months after marriage..and was horizontal for 1 yr. still having medical issues from that..so I guess we are strong together.
