How horrible! I was wondering how one person could stab so many people without being subdued, but the victims were disabled. I can't even begin to imagine.

He must have only had to fight off the few non-disabled adults that would have been supervising, I suppose. I guess nobody subdued him, as he ended up turning himself in to police.

That's 60 people that he was able to stab without being taken down. I am placing absolutely zero blame, just trying to figure out how it is even possible. Depending on the severity of the disability there will usually be a higher staff to patient ratio, and with physical disabilities some strong nursing staff to help out.
This is horrifying. I can't imagine seeing this happen knowing I was powerless to protect myself and others.

I'm completely speechless. Each time I think I'm able to form the words describing what I think, I just can't

Since it happened at 2:30am in Japan, I'm guessing there was less staff on duty and the killer could easily move from room to room killing people in their sleep. Apparently he used to work there.

This makes sense. Still very difficult to imagine and so, so terrible.

I'm completely speechless. Each time I think I'm able to form the words describing what I think, I just can't This is exactly how I feel. Each time I see a new horrible headline, I think, not again. Not more people being killed, for whatever the reason. It makes me feel exhausted and depressed.
