The threads about getting rid of cable made me wonder something
One poster (I don't who) stated they got rid of cable, but have Netflix, slino, and Hulu and still pays $150 LESS than what they paid before.
I pay right around $100 per month for direct tv. We have the plus package with sports and hd, 1 genie and 4 mini genies. When center ice picks up our bill goes up by $30 for 4 months so $130. We don't have HBO or any other movie service.
So in you are what are the prices and what do they include?

We're about $160/mo which covers internet, cable (no premium channels) and taxes/fees. I want to say we'd pay about $100 if we got rid of cable and kept just internet, not that I'd ever be "allowed" to do it.

Ours was $130/month for nothing special - no HBO, showtime, etc.
We now have Netflix ($9.73/month) and Hulu (free for 2 months then $7.99 a month). We also have an antenna and get ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, PBS, and a dozen local affiliates for free.
There is nothing that we miss about cable.
ETA: our bill used to be bundled Internet/cable and it was $190/month. When we dropped cable it dropped to $60/month for high speed internet only. We don't have a home phone.

We pay $160 for internet, phone and cable. And then we have the single viewer option of Netflix, which I think is $8 a month. We can't ditch the landline because our cell reception is so poor at our house. And I'd give up internet over my cold, dead body. So it's cheaper to stick with cable. I'm fine with it--phone only is about $50 a month. Not sure about internet, as I haven't priced it out. We will move again next year and I'll price it out with the new house to see if I want to bundle again or lose the cable. But I do watch a lot of cable TV.
ETA: we do have Starz, so we have one premium channel. But we got it with some bonus deal and our bill dropped about $35, if I recall correctly. It may be with a try to call your provider and see if there are any promotions running.

Dish Network (not the lowest package the next one up with one DVR and no extra movie channels) is $75 or $79 a month.
Internet/phone (not Dish) is $75 a month
About the only channel we watch is Food Network and we are tired of food competition shows so when we drop Dish except for sports I think we will be fine.

We pay $150/month for internet, cable (no pay channels), and phone. We can't get rid of the phone because our alarm is tied to it. We also have Netflix and Hulu, for another $18/month.

$160 is about the going rate, it seems. We have tv/phone/internet. Full house DVR. We also pay the $8 for Netflix.

We pay about $170 for cable/internet/landline. We have 3 DVR boxes and 2 digital boxes. We also get the NBA and NFL networks in addition to the SEC network all three of which are musts.

$91.00 a month for just TV through Dish. Way too much. I would be happy to drop TV entirely.

About a $150 for HDTV cable, phone and internet. The $150 is a *special* deal and the HDTV is "free" otherwise we would not pay for that.

$98/mo for cable thru dish, and 2 dvrs. we have the middle package- not the one with movies and all. we pay extra $5 for fox sports Detroit, which seems stupid as we are MI residents. but we can't watch a lot of hockey games without it.
charter cable sets us back another $60/mo.

Holy cow! Now I know Cox is ripping us off! We pay $205 a month for the top tier Internet and a middle cable package. We also have a $10 home phone. And this is at a special rate! We had UVerse and when they wouldn't drop out bill we changed to Cox. So this is cheaper than what we had. I haven't watched tv in probably 2 months. I don't have time and prefer to read but dh won't let me cancel.

$63.55 for directv. We have the preferred xtra pkg, which is the same as the xtra package but with no local sports (it includes a few extra channels as well, I believe) plus I have a current $35 per month discount for a year and free showtime until October. No other premium channels. We have two SD dvrs. This doesn't include internet. We have that through our local landline phone company.
We also have netflix (just raised to $9.99 per month) and amazon prime.
The last time I called directv the rep told me you can call any time, contract or not, and ask if there are any available discounts. I had to sign a 1 yr contract (after being on no contract since 2010) to get the $35 per month discount.

$75 for internet and phone. Plus we pay for Netflix. We currently also have Amazon Prime that we bought on sale for$35 for the year. But if you just consider tv without the rest, we just pay for Netflix.
We did buy digital antennae a few years ago and have some Roku boxes

Our internet, phone and cable are on one bill. Here's the TV breakdown:
$72.45 base fee $47.45 additional fees (extra non-premium channels, streaming TIVO box & modem - which gives us 6 channels of recording, extra large capacity storage, streaming of all recorded shows on devices in home).
Then I'm getting a discount of $44.35 for something called "service discount" which I'm not really sure what it is for! I should probably find out so that I'm not in for a rude awakening should it go away.
So, let's round up to $75 for cable TV at the moment. Not bad really, I think.

$150 a month for Time Warner cable and Internet, no HBO or other premium stations. My landline phone is through AT&T so not included in my cable bill. I also have Netflix. If it were not for my husband I'd drop the cable immediately. Not worth fifty bucks much less the hundred fifty that I pay.

$213 a month for FIOS. TV, HBO, 2 DVRs, fastest internet option they have and phone. Sadly, I just did a 2 year contract a few months ago...so I'm stuck for a bit.

I was paying $180/mo for Internet and basic cable. Now I have Internet $55, Hulu $7.99, Netflix $7.99 and Sling $20. I don't regret cutting the cord. Haven't missed it a single day.

I just got Apple TV from my sons for my birthday - looking to drop cable. I have 1 dvr, 1 extra box for the tv in the scrap room, basic service and internet - for about $120 a month. The internet alone is $30, so even after I add Netflix and whatever else, it will be better. Will be getting an antenna for the local channels. I don't mind what I've been paying, if I actually had something beside ABC/CBS/NBC to watch.

Our internet and phone is bundled. It costs about $100 which includes our landline (which would cost at least $60 alone) and unlimited long distance. I don't want to give up the landline because I hate talking on a cell phone and we live in a rural area, so our service is spotty sometimes. They do have internet/phone/tv bundles but only with cable and not very many channels.
