This Amazon service has just been introduced to our area, and I'm pretty impressed by it! DD came down earlier to say her printer was out of ink. We checked the price of it on Amazon Now (same as on the main Amazon site) and it was delivered 40 minutes later. Now I want to buy more stuff (like cheesecake!) just to have it turn up at the door before bedtime.

Very cool! I doubt it will be in my area any time soon since I live in a super tiny town but I would absolutely love it.

I used it at Christmas time. The $50 kindle fire I was planning to give my DS for a gift was out of stock until two weeks after Christmas. I checked the Now app, and had one in an hour! Loved it, but haven't used it since

Love it!!!
Its my favorite Amazon service.
Love how you can track the movement of the order. Love getting the text that they are at the door with my order.
It's like having my own personal assistant.

Are you supposed to tip? We have it, but haven't used it yet.

I've used it many, many times including for groceries. No shame in my game. If someone is willing to bring something right to my door, I'm happy to use that service.
I don't use the 1 hour delivery because there's an additional fee, but I have Prime so 2 hour+ (in any time frame that I want to pick) is free.
As a matter of fact, in the Dallas area, they will also deliver from several restaurants, but that's not in the north suburbs, just Dallas proper I believe.

Are you supposed to tip? We have it, but haven't used it yet. During checkout, there is a suggested tip amount. The tip is not added and can be modified up to 48 hours after (I think)

I haven't tried it. I guess if I need something that quickly, I just run to the store and pick it up. I have a friend that uses it all the time though - she loves it!!

They don't offer it where I live, but OMG!!! I would never leave the house again (well, except for work, I guess )

Yep, I have. There are times when getting out just isn't an option. Also, my DS2 is gluten & dairy free- and Prime Now carries his preferred salad dressing, but we can't get it on Amazon without buying a whole case.

Wishful thinking on my part. I won't even tell you in all the ways that it is funny that they don't deliver in my area-there really isn't a single solitary excuse for why they don't.

We use it all the time. I love it.
But for groceries, I've been using Shipt, which delivers from HEB. I can get fresh produce, meat, dairy - anything in the store - delivered in as little as an hour. I'm riding in an Uber home from the airport right now and my groceries will arrive at the house between 7 and 8. Awesome.
