I couldn't sleep so I decided to clean up my scrap area. I haven't scrapped in a few years so I have been going through EVERYTHING to refresh my memory of my stash (notice I didn't say purging). I have a basket I keep my 12 x 12 cardstock in expanding file boxes in. Well while poking around in there I found a mystery zippered pouch. Lo and behold it was my layouts for our trip to Washington DC! I forgot that I had been working on them around the time my parents died and I put scrapping on a hold. They were just photos I had temporarily tacked on to some old SEI paper that I could never find a use for. Guess I now have my first project lined up for me when I actually get around to scrapping again.
So what long lost item have you recently rediscovered in your scrap stash?

I was putting away some new purchases, and I discovered in one of my storage cases a whole bunch of chipboard coasters that I had forgotten about. Several years ago, I used some to make a few mini albums. I might use them again to make a few more.

I was sorting through stickers the other day and came across some Nostalgiques (Sticko) stickers that I had squirreled away. Still love them and was glad to find them!

So what long lost item have you recently rediscovered in your scrap stash? I have some of those clear 12x12 envelopes. I have paper saved in these for specific projects I'll get to someday. I was looking through one and I had a few Chatterbox papers! I thought they were long gone.

I found some Heidi Grace pins that I had never used. They are little pins and each one has a round disc on top with a letter. The bottom of the pin is very sharp. I'm not describing them very well!

I moved recently and found a stash of embossing powders. I was purging lots but those I hung onto. Might be fun for my 11yo to experiment with.

I cleaned out my tool tote (which I keep packed and use right on my desk. Then it's always ready to go for crops and stuff too). I rarely clean it out bc I use so much of what's in it on a regular basis, that I just don't feel the need. Anyway, I found the protective cover to my cutterbee scissors, which I thought I had accidentally thrown away! And a clear block that I thought I had left at a crop. Lol! Jackpot. Both items have been missing at least a year. Oops.

I thought I left my Tool 'n One at a crop, around Christmas. It showed up in the middle of my desk the other day.

I just found a bag of rubber stamps I had bought and misplaced 2 months ago! Where were they? Right next to my scrap table but I didn't look there because I stamp/emboss in the utility side of the basement on top of my chest freezer.

I'm still hoping to find my Bind It All, which I haven't seen since we moved three years ago. I did though, find the cap to my photo marking pencil this weekend, which was a small thrill.

I won the Kaiser Craft Boho Dreams line at a crop recently. I bought items to add to it and now can't find what I won!

Well I haven't found anything but if I ever have to move my storage cubes I'll find a couple then! Twice this week things have fallen down behind them! Very frustrating!

Speaking of a year ago, I was going nuts trying to find my QK Magpie tins and their companion storage shelf back then. We moved into this house five years ago and I thought I had unpacked every last box. Well, you know where this is going...after turning my scrap area upside down at least monthly searching, I finally went back into our basement storage room one more time and happened to spy one last moving box marked "Christmas," on a top shelf with all my other holiday items, that I didn't recall looking in previously. Lo and behold, the tins and shelf. Not one stitch of Christmas in that box, but a whole lot more of scrapping goodies that I didn't realize were missing. I so love the moving process. Lol.

I found the protector for my tonic scissors just behind my pencil holder on my craft table.
I found a $20 bill kind of wrinkled at the bottom of my paper stash about a month ago. I think I was at a crop and put the money in the tote. When I put away the paper I had won, the $20 bill must have gotten caught up between some pages.
I just put my cardstock in two thirty one gifts file n fold's that I bought a year ago, so that had to be what happened.
