Here I am standing in for Chinagirl828 again. This month I thought it would be fun to do a spelling challenge, where I give you a word, and you create a project that has one item that starts with each letter. It could be a shape, or a colour, or a manufacturer or line, or a particular embellishment or product. I have been busy picking and preserving veggies and will be for awhile, so I decided to use the word HARVEST. I haven't done this yet, but some things I might be able to pull out of MY STASH are: H. Heart die or stamp A. Some American crafts card stock R. The colour red V. Some vellum, or maybe some wood veneer E. Echo Park pp S. "Summer" on a PL card T. Thickers. Would love to see what you can harvest out of YOUR stash! All types of projects count (paper, digi, hybrid, PL, art journaling, anything else you create) and if you share your projects online please link them here so we can admire and leave some love. You can find instructions to post in the Refupeas gallery in this thread but shout out if you need help.

nitadReally sweet layout of your little ones surrounded by their stuffed bears. I really like the papers you chose. Love how you used the challenge letters to break out long lost items, and tools, from your stash. The title is perfect, and the embellishments really cute. Great job.

Awesome nicolep ! Love those candles! I want to do this some day. Are the flames stickled? Stamped first? or freehand? Thanks for playing! Great take on the challenge!

Thank you nitad and grammadee! I free - handed the Stickle flames. A little more pressure on the bottom of the flame and drug the nozzle up to thin it out.

Fun idea! I haven't scrapped in several weeks, but am hoping to this weekend. I always do better with a bit of direction when coming back from a break, so thanks for the challenge!

Here is my page made from my stash. None of it is very old. The navy pp was in a kit I recently received. The rest was in my iris Birthday container, and right on top. bd 14 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr H--Hearts on the pp banner, and the birthday HAT A--Arrow R--Recollections cb pieces V--wood veneer. I know this is asking the arrow to do double duty, but I had two H's E--Echo Park S--Sentiment sticker T--Gold Thickers.

Love the placement of the speech bubble in your journaling mikklynn ! Are the gray letters in your title vellum? That is a Project Life card I picked up in a package at TM. It worked perfectly with the red/black papers.
But, now I am thinking I could duplicate that look with vellum - great idea!

nitad, such a darling layout. I love the softness, perfect for your great photos. Also love that the column with the title, embellishment cluster and journaling are all nestled together. nicolep, Super card. I love the paper rolls for candles. Great use of scraps too. You did a fabulous job with the candle light and how the sentiment lines up with the twine at the top. Perfect! mikklynn, I love everything about this page. We still consider Chicago our hometown so anything to do with it, I'm fond of. grammadee, I left you love on your wonderful layout a few days ago. You've created some excellent challenges for us this month. I hope to get a chance to play.
