If you are a staunch supporter of either Clinton or Trump, is there anything that would change your mind about voting for them?
Both have their issues, but many people are totally behind either Clinton or Trump and can forgive them of their many transgressions, but is there something that would make you not vote for your candidate? I don't mean you would vote for the other, but you would take a serious look at a third party.
I am not trying to convince anyone to change their mind, just wondering where your line is. Thanks

A 3rd viable candidate is the only thing that would possibly change my vote.
No Johnson or Stein are not viable and can not win and won't prevent having an undesirable in the whitehouse. Sorry. Chance I can not take.
Funny that 4 years ago I did vote Green Party. And I knew I was 'throwing' my vote away and I really didn't care. I actually had/have respect for both candidates in the major party's though I had differences in policy with both. Whatever would happen I was 'ok' with it, so I voted for someone who I doubted would win. I just want to vote *FOR* someone rather than against the other. Though I would have been unexpectedly pleased had the candidate I voted for won. I knew it was a long long shot.
Can't take a chance this year, one candidate is so so unacceptable to me I can't chance it.
And if she miraculously gets charged or convicted of anything in the mean time, I actually like her VP candidate better than her, so I'm comfortable with my choice from what my current options are.

Absolutely nothing. I see voting for an independent giving an edge to Trump. So no.

Absolutely nothing. I see voting for an independent giving an edge to Trump. So no. I know people hate to hear this, but I feel exactly the same way. I can see thinking that a 3rd party vote is the way to START the change, but to me, there is just too much at stake for this election that I can't give my vote to a 3rd party.

Truthfully, I don't know what I'm going to do. I left the GOP because of Trump, but I also can't vote for Clinton. I'm conservative in areas where Clinton has royally screwed up and gotten away with things I would have been jailed for. I admit it sticks in my craw and I won't be getting over it enough to put that check mark by her name. I've always voted and never felt like if my candidate didn't win it was the end of the world. Now, I can't go either way and it's distressing to feel I have no voice.

If I am understanding some, no matter what Clinton does you will vote for her? Same thing for Trump, you are voting for him no matter what he does or says now?

I would like to amend my answer.
When I can find a political party that values my health and access to health care as much as they do boner pills, I will consider voting accordingly. Some recent bills passed in the past few years make me scared for my lady parts.

ABSOLUTELY nothing could make me vote for Trump. I also see voting a third party as a vote for Trump. Sometimes you have to go with the devil you know to avoid the devil you don't. T

For me, it would be possible for Clinton to lose my vote if she did something horrible, yes, but it certainly would not go to Trump. I would vote 3rd party if that were the case. But assuming she doesn't shoot someone on the street, or rape someone, etc, she'll be keeping my vote.

There is nothing or no one on this earth that could ever convince me to vote for Trump. He is far to dangerous. Hillary was not my first pick, but I choose her over Trump any day.

I am a conservative with liberal leanings who usually votes Republican. I have said since day one that I would never vote for Trump. I am fairly horrified to find myself actually thinking about the possibility of voting for Hillary. I can't get behind any of the Third Party candidates, and there is no Republican option.
I have never not voted and I hate to think that the November that I turn 65 might be the November that I just stay home. It is getting more and more depressing as election day grows nearer.

I will not vote for Trump. I am not sold on Hillary but I will vote for her as a means of keeping Trump out of office. I feel the choices I make on the rest of the ballot are the ones that could make a difference. Also I do not want Trump picking SC candidates and I feel that HC will need to choose wisely and moderately to ensure her base for reelection. At least that is what I'm hoping. I will vote though because I have spent 30 odd years preaching to my children and students that the right to vote is the cornerstone of our country and to not use that vote is giving away your right to protest or voice an opinion on the way our country is run.

I'm not sure what would turn me from Hillary at this point. Obviously if she physically harmed someone or started acting like Trump, I would probably vote third party or abstain.

On NPR today they were talking about how this election will have more than normal Republicans voting Democrat for president...similar to years ago when a lot of Democrats voted Republican when Ronald Reagan was elected.

If Hillary shot someone on Fifth Avenue, I guess I wouldn't vote for her. Also if she got arrested or started showing signs of Alzheimer's, I'd have to vote for someone else. On second thought, if she started showing signs of Alzheimer's, I'd probably still vote for her. Better Hillary with dementia than Trump with his usual faculties. Tim Kaine could take over after the inauguration. The only way I'd ever vote for Donald Trump would be if he were running against Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un, or Adolf Hitler.

As a native New Yorker who grew up with all the shit that trump pulled in the bygone years, there is no way I could vote for the ashat. Even his college peers had nothing nice to say about him. Nothing.

If the SCOTUS seat was filled I would feel better about voting 3rd party.
I just can't stomach 4 years of trump though. One year has been enough. He is a childish asshole and I can't imagine him as president.
