My niece is expecting a baby boy soon. She has a registry but the items are not personal. They are all 'supplies'. I really wanted to get a few items that would be nice, possibly to make a gift basket of sorts with these items in it. I already ordered The Little Boy Who Lost His Name book . It a great book about finding his name. I've heard many great reviews of the book. Can anyone give me more ideas? I can't think of anything! I wanted to spend $75 - $100 total. Thanks.

A friend had one of these made for each of our boys. It's such a sweet memory and the kids love looking at them. keepsake wooden block - I don't know if that was the company she ordered from, but they look similar to that.

My friend monogrammed a blanket for my daughter and I love it. It it great to take monthly pictures on. I was only able to do this a couple of times since so many people no longer register for formal silverware (and it can be expensive) but if I knew their formal pattern and the manufacturer had made baby utensils in their pattern, I got the baby spoon.

I love this idea! But, Make sure if you get a silver gift, it is silver! And a cloth to store it in.

My go to gift for a while has been personalized growth chart with the child's name on it. I received one for DD when she was born, and she still has it hanging in her closet (she's now 15).
