The shots did nothing for me. It wasn't until I started taking the sublingual B12 that things improved. I just told the nurse who gave me the shot on Wednesday, that I am tired of them and she said talk to the doctor! Is your OTC or Rx? OTC--Nature Made They ones I have are 3000 mg.

I take sublingual as well. I can always tell when I'm low. I have no energy and need naps. Try the daily sublingual if your doctor says it's ok. I have been taking B12 Complex thinking they would help my energy level to come back, always tired. Wonder if I try this kind if it would be better, i have never heard of them before. Can I get these at the pharmacy?

gailoh - yes you can buy them at Target, Walmart or any grocery store. I take the 3,000 mcg sublingual. This is what I use: Nature Made

DH had shots weekly for 8 weeks then monthly. They worked amazing for him.
He went to give blood and they wouldn't,t allow him as his B12 was almost non existent. He was falling asleep at the drop of a hat and lethargic among other things. The shots really improved him by the 3 Rd week but it took a long time to up his numbers. Our dr was going to put him on sublingual, but he responded well enough to the shots that he now takes just vitamin form.
