Luckily no damage in my neighborhood; just very, very wet. Spent some quality time in the basement with our two cats who were ticked that we dragged them down there.
Hoping all is well with the rest of the Peas from the area.

Well wishes to my fellow Michiganders. We had crazy wind and rain this evening but no tornadoes that I've heard of. I'm in northern lower Michigan on the east side. My house in town is two blocks from Lake Huron. I haven't checked in with my in town neighbors to see if there was any damage from the storms. Fingers crossed.

I got stuck in a tornado shelter with several hundred other people while attending the fiber festival. Sirens were going off every 10 minutes. DH kept telling me to leave. Yeah, honey, I'll do that. They weren't letting anyone leave until the warnings expired. The closest touch down was about 30 miles north of the fairgrounds I was at. At home, we just got rain.
I kinda want to go back today. I feel like I didn't get to check out all of the yummy yarn completely but it's an hour drive and I'd be going alone, again.

No damage in our neighborhood but confirmed touchdown on the south side of my "city" (Jamestown). DD & I were at Rivertown Crossings mall. We took cover for about 50 minutes in the shoe stockroom at Macy's. Confirmed touchdown 2 miles south of the mall Wilson & 68th. And based on the amount of tree damage, it also likely blew through about 1/2 mile east of the mall near 52nd between Ivanrest & Byron Center Aves. One of the buildings on the outskirt mall property (Rivertown & Ivanrest) had some structural damage that we could see when we drove past.
